Screen does not respond to touch input due to cracks but you can still use Windows and such like you normally would using the type cover.

Purchased for my girlfriend on February 2, 2015. Screen has what I would describe as 2 big cracks on it. One running diagonal from upper left corner to lower right corner, another 1 along the bottom. There is also some cracks on the middle lower bezel and lower corner. The screen still powers on and you can use it as a regular laptop just fine using the included type cover but the screen will no longer respond to touch input. I tried to take a picture the best I could to show the cracks but it didn't really show very well. The other issue is one of the back hinges is broken (see pic) and the metal around it is also a bit damaged.

I know some people here offer slots sharing their Amazon Prime accounts ... in case you were not aware Amazon changed their rules regarding sharing as well as their 'household' definition, effective 7/31/15.

Previously they allowed sharing of Prime benefits with up to 4 people in a household ... this has been updated to :
- Two adults, each with their own Amazon account.
- Up to four children, who don't need Amazon accounts in order to be a part of the household.

In addition in order to share Prime benefits, both adult account holders need to authorize each other to use credit and debit cards associated with their Amazon accounts for purchases on Amazon. This will not affect either of their current payment settings, but each adult will be able to copy the credit and debit cards of the other account to his or her Amazon account and use them for purchases with Amazon.

The good part is that now Prime Sharing also includes Prime Instant Video (streaming only) and Kindle Owners' Lending Library.

So far I've seen no indication that any of these changes are retroactive, but they will apply for anyone sharing Prime going forward.
