I'm looking to sell a used Nvidia EVGA Geforce GTX 970 FTW GPU (you can read about the specs here.)

It's been used for less than two months, and has worked great. I haven't noticed any coil whine on the card, even when it runs at more intense speeds (though you will, of course, hear the fans). It comes with a backplate (already installed), the original box, and all original accessories (power cables, VGA/DVI adaptor).

Hey there, this is an update of sorts for those folks who purchased Amazon Prime household subscriptions from me last year.

As you may or may not know, I offered Prime shipping services for $20 to the first four users interested. Due to demand, I opened up another four spots thanks to an additional Amazon account with Prime access.

Anyhow, my first and primary account will be up for resubscription on February 24, 2015. As such, I've sent out emails to the users who purchased the spots letting them know that I'll be continuing with my access and offering the same deal at the same price point I offered before despite the price hike Prime received.

That pretty much sounds like your fault for poor research before buying. Saying that "Well, they would refund it on eBay" doesn't really mean much, since one of the reasons there are so many sellers here is precisely because eBay screws over sellers.

Have you considered selling the code again yourself, possibly at a loss if need be? It just doesn't seem fair at all to place all - or even most - of the blame on the seller.

Anyways, it seems that it is that you can't get the game on the Silver tier so I asked for a refund after confirming that the code is still usable for any future purchasers. It's a valid code and unused so I figured it would be a fairly easy process with some caveats that maybe he'd have to sell it first and make sure it worked or what have you.

Instead he outright refused a refund at first because "they wouldn't refund on ebay or a third party site" (although they probably would I've never had an issue like this before) and then today because he doesn't have time to resell a sold code (although it wouldn't be sold if I didn't buy it in the first place as he has two more in stock as he told me!)

Anyways a bit of a sticky wicket I suppose but I wouldn't buy from him again thus the negative feedback. He wasn't willing to be reasonable at all even though it was clearly a misunderstanding and I provided proof of how I believed the game would be included and also explained how he could verify that the code hadn't been used.

Maybe it's just me but it doesn't seem like that guy did anything wrong. It's a digital item; I'd be wary to take someone's word at face value that they won't use that code.

That's what he said to me as a reason not to refund I am not using it as a reason he should.

The page I listed shows the games and then says for gold you pick 3, for silver you pick 2 with no sorts of exlusions applied so I thought I HAD done my research to make sure I could get the game with the code. AMD was a bit opaque about this frankly.

I understand that having given me the code it puts him in a little bit of a spot and would have been happy to wait for him to sell it and confirm it went through properly before getting a refund. However what I got was a flat no with nonsense reasons why it shouldn't be done that had nothing to do with reasonableness and everything to do with him not wanting to try sell it to someone else.
