Regarding the GoW 4 digital code fiasco, if I bought mine via the Nvidia promotion from a seller, am I in the clear?

Also...

I cannot find a Destiny: The Taken King digital code anywhere. Every outlet only bundles it with the legendary edition, but I have everything up to that 3rd expansion. Would anyone coincidentally have a digital copy on hand that they'd be willing to sell?

Hitman keys were a $15 Amazon glitch.

I think his stance is pretty clear, if you don't "disclose" what glitch you got the cheap key from so he can get in on it he will go as far as scamming you.

I'm for disclosure, but yeah, it needs to be addressed in some sense.
(Before we say my hitman one again, we knew they were amazon error keys, they were posted as such for a page back, didn't need to at that point)

Edit: wait did that one guy say i approve of scamming people if its undisclosed so I can scam them too? Oh get out of here with that, I'm the one whos constantly calling out scammers in here weekly, a major reason we even have the rule that we can politely note when a price is cheaper elsewhere, except I accidentally break it when I get annoyed at scamming. What the hell dude, that's just the opposite of what I do, stop spinning a story. People in here can call me out for specific things, but that is not one I do.

This really depends on the title. Gamecube games can go for a decent amount depending on the game.

So yes, I've gone into the reason I've refunded it, but not even going to sugarcoat it, that post of my was obnoxious, especially considering how many people in here probably have no idea why I'd be so against those. Add that awful assumption of mine that more people would know that together with my way of wording it (yay free game~), and you have a lovely post that either has your friends going "you're an idiot for the way you worded it, even if you had reasons to request a refund" and people who don't know you at all calling you scummy and no better than the people that you've been calling out for a year straight.

Again, sorry about that. In specific, sorry for making a baity post that really served no purpose to anyone in here without context, which can only lead to someone getting annoyed enough to call it out hard, leading me to finally explain it, leading to an argument that really...didn't need to exist. I could have just posted "by the way, if you're not really for nondisclosed keys, you can try and ask that ebay seller if he'll maybe refund you because you don't like the way that was handled considering it was on ebay, he listened to me and offered me a refund" or such, and that whole thing could have been ten times as civil.
Can only try to improve from here, but yeah, will take that as my low point in the thread by a mile, feel free to drag me through the mud.

This thread used to be a place where GAFfers would get great deals from other GAFfers on a plethora of things, from steam keys, to laptops, to computer parts, to gaming memorabilia. Now it's just price gougers, flippers, and people who think this is a safer ebay to sell their overpriced hardware/bundle keys/software/shit/junk.

It's ok that's the norm now, but calling out any one guy about for it when everyone is doing it is not cool.

Indeed, the worst part is, they're actually making more money selling here since Ebay/Amazon doesn't take its cut and the buyer has far less protections but they still expect to sell at ebay prices. BST needs more moderation and more regulation, instead of letting this be the wild, wild west where sellers are taking advantage of other gaffers.

Not trying to call you out or anything of the sort, but didn't you use to sell Steam keys before the whole region look affair? You mean to tell me you sold those codes at face value and did not make any profit?

Could not agree more, this thought has crossed my mind more then several times. We need more moderation and regulation. On ebay, they bend over backwards to protect the buyer from any potential shitty sellers.

2) You really shouldn't talk about what you do not know. I am not russian, nor did i buy my games directly from the russian store. US store here. It was a lengthy process getting games that cheap, which i won't go over in detail here, but if you go back to a couple of years ago, you can see my method ending up selling some games cheaper then how much the russians were selling them for. It consumed alot of my time and yes, i took a small percentage for it, which i was very transparent about both that i take a cut and where my games were sourced from.

I don't have an issue with it at all. If you were still selling, I would buy. I'm just saying everyone wants to get some profit. In no way am I comparing it to exploited keys. I am not calling you out, I don't want to witch hunt anybody, I have never had a problem with you and I will probably not have it in the future. if I upset you, my bad but it honestly wasn't my intention. I'll shut up from now on and just go about my business.

I haven't seen an uptick in negative transactions so more people aren't getting screwed. As long as buyers continue to buy and sellers continue to sell, what's wrong with this thread?

And eBay is pretty bad for selling nowadays. The discussion on the last page should tell you everything about how easy it is to be a dissatisfied buyer and get a refund. I don't blame sellers for coming here to sell their stuff.

Three tickets to Kanye West Saint Pablo Tour, Key Arena in Seattle, WA on October 19, 2016. (Section 103, Row 19, Seats 9-11) - $150 each, $400 for all three (Also willing to negotiate for an Xbox One + cash)

I have three tickets in the lower 103 section. Was planning to go, and then those plans imploded on me. Both friends I had planned to attend with bailed, and I really don't want to go by myself. So, I'm selling all three here. Tickets were $470 total at the time of purchase, and are now being sold for about $190 + service fees in the same section.

I'm happy to sell the whole package or just ticket by ticket, whatever works for you. Tickets will be delivered through Ticketmaster's secure transfer on their website, so please have a Ticketmaster account ready to go. I'd also send the regular PDF files as well if the buyer wishes (though it is far less secure than using the official method on Ticketmaster).

I don't think there are a ton of people getting ripped off.

There have been 17,370 positive BUYER feedbacks left.
There have been 21,602 positive SELLER feedbacks left.
There have been 19 neutral feedbacks left.
There have been 40 negative feedbacks left.

That's a negative or neutral for 1 out of 366 transactions. Not sure what eBay's record is, but for something that's not really policed, that's pretty damn good. 99.73% positive.

Additionally, if you think something is priced too high, don't buy it. Go look for it somewhere else. Research. If a price seems suspiciously low, "If it's too good to be true, it probably is" is a good adage to follow.
