Really? I think you're way underestimating the amount of Ones that have been sold. If anything it'll be better as it'll be easier to be the best with a smaller base of players. I got the One version over PS4 for a few reasons like my ONE is much quieter, doesn't act as a heater for my room, I'm letting my ps+ expire, my buddies all got it on the One, and people actually communicate on Xbox. I love my PS4 but it's definitely gonna be used as a single-player/exclusive only machine from now on.

edit- I meant to quote the guy you quoted saying he's worried about the One's install base. Sorry.

I kinda wish I bought the digital version so I could play right at midnight. Hopefully UPS has me on the early route tomorrow. Especially since I have off from work and I might not be seeing the girlfriend until later in the day.

I'm sure that host migration will work more properly once it's fully released so they connect with their region.

Right now, they are connecting mostly with overseas people from New Zealand/Australia.

Anyone in the UK stopping up to play their digital copy at midnight?

At my age I should be wrapped up with a hot water bottle but theres just something about Call of Duty that makes me all giddy.

even if 95% of the time the multiplayer is dog shit

I seem to win absolutely zero one vs one battles. Either I suck or my connection sucks. Probably the latter, because I often shoot at least 10 rounds, but then the kill cam shows I shot like 3-4 rounds. Frustrating!

Decided against midnight launch in favour of getting some sleep... but I woke up too early.

4 more hours. The wait is killing me.

I have a Digital Day Zero pre-installed on my Xbox One and there's no update.

The Day Zero Editon must mean more for streamers than the general public. Since they are "streamers" and all.

The lay crowd must abide or suffer the late consequences.

The big factor is people actually communicate and socialize on Xbox. I was PS exclusive last gen and saw a dramatic shift in my experience when I went multi console this gen.

I found that it's pretty quiet on both platforms with parties being implemented.

absolutely agree, also calling that thing that came with the launch ps4 a microphone is a pretty big overstatement


Now i'm just hoping that Amazon isn't gonna take forever to ship my X1 copy :(

Basically I had it preloaded and when I've gone to play today on HK release it said updating. Which I thought would be a normal day 1 patch. But it is completely redownloading the game.

It isn't just me this has happened to either.

Wait, did you region switch to HK or do you actually live there? If you region switched, it's downloading the game again from the HK store and your original download should remain.
