This is just the same ‘stream Gamepass games on XCloud’ Ultimate perk that has been in place for years now.

What exactly is being ‘given away’ here when it’s still the same Gamepass Ultimate subscription needed, as always?

COD games are first party now, like it or not. All first party games go to Gamepass.

Which is a pretty big chunk and almost definitely way way off the mark.

I don't remember those estimates but they do seem high. What's the global cloud market at right now?

That porting requirement just means that they had to have a way that ubisoft could stream it without having it running on MS hardware or software - doesn't mean they have to release those ports to consumers.

Ubisoft licenses out the game streaming rights. It doesn't stream it on hardware itself. It means that for example if PS decide they want their game on PS+ Premium they cannot deny a port on PS5.

That isnt my experience but i do have 2gig fibre with very low ping on a good day.

They have 20 million people on PS4/PS5 paying $70-$100 every year to play CoD. The money goes to the same place, which is allowing Game Pass users to play the games with their subs. You're welcome.

Even if those people only buy the base $70 version (and they don't they want the perks) and minus the 30% PSN cut, it's still at least $1 billion a year coming from PS users. And that's not counting all the MTX and Battle Pass revenue throughout the year.

I’m sorry, but these are bizarre series of posts from you. We literally had a massive thread discussing the GamePass Ultimate price hike months ago, and that was widely speculated as a change to capture the ‘sustainable’ part you cite.

This is giving amnesia or cryosleep. Or just relentless digging when you’re in a hole.

He’s not lying. Especially here in the UK. The game always turns to shit after 9pm for me when I am dumped god knows where.

During the day, the experience also changes game to game. This can only be their crazy matchmaking algorithm that ensures you can’t have too many good games in a row.

Nah man, whatever they are doing server side to combat lag is fucked. I can literally fire into someone half a clip, they turn around shoot 3 times and I'm dead. On kill cam I don't even fire; this is with a 25ms ping. Go to a lobby overseas with a 125ms ping and I will win 1v1 on most encounters. It's screwed.

Thats why I only play Hardcore if I can help it, but late at night most people who play hardcore go to bed so I get stuck in regular matches and it's a waste of time. Be first to start shooting = lose 1v1. It's annoying as shit.
