Beta made me feel nauseous too and these games don't normally do that to me. Seems like I turned off camera shake etc but still made me a Lil sick after a whilw

Don't have an Xbox anymore and waiting for the Pro, but , damn.. GeForce Now + game pass hard wired.. I ain't missing the Xbox.
I did jump in to finish MW3 first.. just finished it right when I hit save.

Yeah but I I'm doubtful ill get it due to the price so I even put down steam gift cards if the game itself is more than they want to spend. I'll most likely end up picking it up myself after the holidays though when I can afford it.

Game has crashed on me once, and the multiplayer map with the water/boats (which is fucking horrendous Jesus Christ) has some of the worst flickering on the water I've seen in a long time. The game also feels "off" and idk exactly what it is at least on PC which isn't something I remember thinking when I played the beta on PS5.

Other folks have stated issues with the PC version in this thread as well, looks like the PC version isn't launching in the best of states.
Noticed some 'warbling' on some textures like carpets and some characters clothes here and there, and the pop-in (especially in the Hub map area) is kinda notable for objects like trees, but otherwise no crashes or bugs in my time on the console so far.

Interesting but not surprising honestly.
I did a month of Game Pass PC to try it out and I'm enjoying myself quite a bit in multiplayer. If I decide to buy it I'm gonna get it on PS5 I think (also where the hell is the Pro patch).
Also I'm sad that the KSV doesn't seem to be all that great. The VSS/AS Val, SR-3 is my favorite firearm of all time and I tend to try to use it in everything but I'm getting outgunned left and right with this thing.

The game is definitely a bit heavier but it looks better overall so I guess that’s the penalty.
There is a chance they might optimize it further throughout the year

Yes, you can tell it's a cross-gen game, but IQ is nice, performance is smooth and the set pieces are bombastic. It's good for what it sets out to be.

Campaign is a good time so far, has a lot of flavor. Homing knife!
Only complaint is that there’s so much opportunity to explore, sneak around and find cash etc., but your contact pesters you every 30 seconds to drop what you’re doing and go to the objective, with increasing severity. Should’ve been addressed in playtesting. Not a big deal though.

I thought it was mostly an AMD driver issues but I guess it affects Nvidia as well... I'm not sure what causes it, but I've had dx errors like that since mw2019 and they are still happening lol

Does anyone else feel like the TTK is very short compared to MW3. The fast TTK combined with what feels like very small maps makes the game seem very different from mw3/mw2.

we are in the year 2024, and Call of fucking Duty has aim acceleration that can not be turned off... wtf?
I mean old CoD had that too, like BLOPS1 or MW2. but not as strong as here. you barely felt it in those old games.
but now it just feels so...
it's not even only on the outer edge like in Apex Legends' default settings, but it applies to the entire range of the stick.

The early days of each CoD are always the best. I seem to get quickly sorted and put in with the other aging muppets that at these early times are still about as muppety as me. Some of the maps are cool, and overall, it's seemed pretty fair so far. I range from a K/D of less than 1 to better, and occasionally much better. No wtf moments yet. This gets a solid thumbs up.

Yeah the talking about moving on is annoying. But all in all I think it’s awesome, only two missions down but as someone who’s a COD noob (only played 360 launch COD, MW3 and this) I’m at the point where I start realizing why it’s such a popular IP. The campaign and action set pieces makes so many big AAA games seem bad. It’s linear but great. Surprised at the safe house size and exploration stuff there too, all of a sudden I’m picking locks like in Elder Scrolls and solving code decryption puzzles wut ?? Love it!

Picked up the game a couple hours ago from gamestop and starting off with multi-player and gotta say I'm having fun with it. Each match turns into kind of a sweat fest but in a goodway. My biggest complaint for the multi-player are the maps and spawns, never fun getting shot down within 3 seconds of spawning. Going to spend some time on the campaign tomorrow and maybe zombie.

Had a few hours in mp (HC tdm) last night. Graphics don't look as clean as mw3, almost like its too cluttered and cant see opposition players. Got hammered in first few games, then realised crossplay was on. Turned that shit off and managed to start getting +kd.
Already hate some maps, but need to learn them, as currently don't know where is accessible and where isnt, so makes it hard to know what windows, ledges etc to watch.
Spawns also quick to flip, got shot in back quite a bit last night. Also grenades feel like they have massive range (both har far you can throw and explosion range) and like all previous entries feels like they home in on you.

I find that so funny because to me it's probably the best cod campaign I've played in yeeeears.
It's stupid as shit, and so is cod and has been for years. We are far passed the years of call of duty 1 and 2.
It's pure stupid 80s vibes and the characters and missions perfectly reflect that. Ridiculous un realistic bomb basic Hollywood fun.
I'm not coming to this game wanting deep story lines and characters. Leave that to another cod arm branch like modern warfare where you can get into the weeds on thriller type/ serious campaign. I don't find them as fun.
Black ops has always been silly cia political intrigue "the numbers mason"
This is exactly that turned up to 11 and I find the cash mechanic genius for a cod. I've never hunted round levels in cod it's just a to b kill everything in the way. This has me hunting around and really enticing the skill tree
Basically I think that comment is absolutely off the mark imo.
Perfect weekend Hollywood popcorn game and I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

Decided to buy it this morning and after playing a few matches, I love it. The omnimovement system makes it play like a dream. Should've been present since the start.
Have to say it's graphically underwhelming. Quite mediocre on PS5, but I guess that's to be expected from a cross-gen title.

I'd expect reviews to start dropping Monday. But initial impressions both in here and elsewhere seem positive overall.
Not everyone likes COD but if you do sentiment seems to say you'll like this one also. Seems like the launch maps are the biggest criticism so far.
