Please, for the love of Tamriel, bring back Stakeout 24/7.

The HC Faceoff Moshpit is endless Gala or Heirloom. I never find a fresh lobby, and it feels like 90% of the time I'm dumped into DOM on Heirloom in progress, the team I'm on is always short and always losing. What a clusterfuck.

And this headshot grind is breaking me. It is going REALLY FUCKING SLOWLY. This was a dumb idea. Sure, it is a lot more straightforward than past camo challenges, but it is still not reasonable for me and I would imagine it isn't reasonable for a lot of players.

it's made for kids

One of the dumbest statements I've ever read on GAF and that's saying a lot. Ironically enough it's the kind of thing a child would say.

Anyway, I'd say 90% of my playtime has been MP, 10% zombies. As already pointed out, rank doesn't necessarily equate with skill. In fact, there is an argument to be made that those that *don't* prestige aren't confident in their skills and innately have an "advantage" by having access to everything unlocked but I won't judge, neither should you.

zombies is literally made for kids and so is CoD, maybe less so. you get "candy" power ups and it's pew pew pew kill stuff all day, anyone who doesn't live their life through video games recognizes this. that said, i've been playing it way too much I think because ever since i've picked up CoD again my existence as human being has become shallow and meaningless

Liking the Hit List, it's essentially a mini battle pass free to everyone. 5000 kills to unlock everything initially seemed high but I checked my stats and after a little over two weeks I racked up around 7500 kills so it should be easy. Community aspect is cool too, literally *billions* of kills needed to unlock the tiers lol, don't think I've ever seen a game do that before but I could be wrong, very cool either way 👌

Not seeing much use of omni-movement at all anymore. The majority of people appear to have settled for standard movement with forward and occasional sideways slides. The ‘throwing yourself onto the ground and spazzing around’ seems to have all but disappeared.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it was removed or stripped back for the next COD.

I use it all the time, especially moving side to side while sliding and sliding backwards.
To me personally It makes the game feel much much better that any prior CoD.

I use it and see it all the time..

The thing I dont quite get is if the shimmy down move off a ledge, like you learn in the mp tutorial, has any iframes to it, or any other kind of avoidance mechanic while in the motion. I havent seen much of that, but it also involves pressing and holding the crouch button a while before touching the ledge. Maybe too complicated for a fast meta, but it looks and feels damned cool to pull off.

I have no idea what you are describing so I think I’ll just have to do that tutorial

Ok so on mouse and keyboard the only way to take full advantage of the new movement is to a keybind slide to one of your mouse buttons otherwise you have to lift your finger off WSAD (or whatever you use for moving) and it everything brakes down.

I don’t remember who suggested this here or in the beta thread, but thank you for saving me some trail and error time.

I couldn't imagine using a level 1 gun in multiplayer. Far easier to use a double XP token and you can do 30 levels in an hour. Not to mention having a nice camo to slap on it.

I'm now at 26/35 for Mystic Gold. Closing in on Nebula and the vast amount of XP that comes with it.

It’s been a cod staple for at least the last few years. MWII may have started it but not entirely sure.

No. I use ctrl for crouch and for going prone. I have it act similar to the B button on controller. Quick press for crouch/slide and hold for dive/prone. Use my pinky finger

I'm almost 50 years old with a son on the way, and I grind the hell out of Zombies. The innuendo in there is fun and I appreciate the dark moments of the story. It's not meant to be a FF7 or Cyberpunk 2077 script. It's meant for button mashing and some adrenaline fun.

BO:CW Zombies was better, but this is fun.

That works as well, I didn't know it can do double duty like that lol otherwise I also use it for prone, but mouse 5 for slide.

The point is not having to take your fingers off the movement binds

Sprint Assist > On
Mantle Assist > On

Press B while sprinting into slide (and press B again while sliding to exit into crouch)

Or hold B while sprinting to exit into prone.

Working towards Nebula myself, have 3 SMGs and 2 Marksmen Rifles to plow through yet but those SMGs go fast, can take a fresh level one and get about 500 crit kills every 15 minutes

For huge XP have found rounding up all the Zs on the Alamo and dropping a decoy grenade then molotav them before killing them all with every ammo mod bought, XP flies

Yea there is a setting buried somewhere that allows you to double down on that button. It feels much more natural to me than pressing c for crouch.
I use mouse5 for weapon mounting and mouse 4 for melee.

Really happy to play 10v10 mosh pit now. It makes these maps more bearable. I really want shipment and shoothouse back.

Try this:

Some of my favourite maps I'd like to see return to BLOPS6, in no particular order:

Overgrown, Crash, Shipment, Summit, Drive Thru, Firing Range, Hijacked, Express, Slums, Grid, Standoff, Hunted, Afghan, Favela, Terminal, Miami, Armada, might be forgetting a couple.

With dozens of hours invested in multiplayer I think I've settled into my overall top 3:

1. Payback
2. Skyline
3. Lowtown

After my first 20 hours or so I wouldn't have put Lowtown in my top 3 but it's really grown on me to surpass the likes of Rewind or Derelict (though those are both great too). Worst map is Scud by far. I don't know what it is but I always perform poorly on it, nothing about it feels particularly unique or special.

Edit: damn, we still haven't cleared the first tier of the Hit List. I'm working all weekend but I'm about to boost those numbers lol

Almost none of those will come back. Half of them are IW property and the others are Black Ops 2, which are being included in Cod 2025.

Best we can hope for is more BO4 maps.

I'll give it a go thanks for letting me know

What do you think about the aim? It still feels a bit "floaty" to me compared to MWIII
