Started using the KRM and I love it. Sure, its OHK range is like half of the argus, but its much, much more consistent in getting shots and hipfire is great using KRM. I've also started sliding offensively to close distances.

Any shotgun tips? Like which perks to run? Right now I'm running gung ho and the perk which prevent counter UAVs for affecting you (among other stuff - its a big paragraph lol)

Few things:
- Shit matchmaking (yeah, 7-4 games are F-U-N!)
- Shit team balancing (as you've highlighted, and has happened to everyone)
- That quaking thing that happens at random. I pick up a lot of guns since I rock only one, and whenever I do, yep, quake and I have to wait a few seconds for it to stop.
- Shit connections. This will never get fixed since Acti doesn't really need to spring for dedicated servers due to CoD audience accepting whatever shit they want.
- Joining me in games where the score is 40-120 (Dom) and scorestreaks all over the place.

Just the tip of the iceberg, friends!
You forgot another major one.

-Shit map rotation (also known as the Combine effect)

Dedicated servers are in use. They just can't handle big weekends.

And what would you rather? Every time someone left, no one new joined so you end up with games being forfeited left, right and center?

Just be grateful that now joining a game in progress does not count toward your win/loss stats, and you shouldn't be put into games that are about to end.

Spent all this time in hardcore running around with the MR6, with two attachments for the secondary gunfighter challenge. Turns out you need an optic as well for it to count :p

I fucking hate people. From the killing me to steal my care packages, to playing Combine 10 times in a row, I'm now pissed off more than ever: Teammates are killing me just before I get my kill streak.

Yeah, what's with the new problem of teammates stealing care packages? I've had 2 taken in the last few days and this never happened before.

I wish i could play combine all day. Getting like 400-500spm on that map and challebges gets done way faster than other maps.

XR-2 is fucking amazing. Easiest AR to headshot imo. Even better than the M8.

There is something seriously wrong with this game if someone can go 67 and 21 in a game of Domination and win only by one point.

Too much bullshit.

Wellllllll you do realize your k/d has next to no impact on the outcome of a domination game right?.....right?

So far the only use i've found for rolling thunder is killing myself accidentally because the hitbox makes zero sense(on top of the fact that you shouldn't be able to kill yourself with scorestreaks, especially with how much it costs) and unintentionally killing a wraith with it

You're lucky to get one kill with Rolling Thunder, depending on the map.

Today was the first time I've really had a chance to use Firebreak, and wow, I'm having a blast with it. When I initially leveled up it was during double XP weekend so I quickly prestiged before really using it. I just got my first feeding frenzy by just running around setting everyone on fire.

I'm about to get my 2nd prestige and I think I may use the unlock token on it. Probably not the best choice to make (first prestige I did M8A7), but if I'm having fun with it, why not.

You described the pharo

Great rof, great for close range, but can also kill at a distance

Razorback is even better at a distance, and less recoil (very accurate), but slower rate of fire - hence why I use rapid fire with it and problem solved

Definitely give a try when you can the pharo, and Razorback. I permanently unlocked both.

The Pharo is pretty great. Fastest I've ranked up with a weapon.

I also put a stock on my ICR-1 and have been doing better with it. This game is far too spastic to be rooted by slow ADS strafe speed. There must be a reason why I see everyone doing good running like 5 attachments.

I had a feeling you would like it

Long barrel only increases the minimum damage ranges on SMGs, so it's a sucky attachment for them.

How would you describe your play style? You say that the game is spastic and it seems you're frustrated and having a bad time, while so far I'm having the time of my life. Could you describe, in detail, what is it that is going on?

In regards to weapons, the Kuda is great all around. VMP is like the MP7 from BO2, and relies and sustained fire. The Weevil is the best SMG to use for stealth classes and attacking from odd angles. The Vesper destroys as long as you're able to stay and traverse the map in such a way to always stay in range. The Pharo can kill the fastest of all SMGs (even the Vesper) IF you don't miss. It's a risk and reward weapon. The Razorback is optimal for mid and long range, but like the Weevil, can fit a stealth role. It can survive close range encounters as long as you're prepared.

The KN-44 is the most consistent AR, pretty much always taking four shots to kill. The ICR is the Weevil of ARs. The XR-2 is best for support fire and for attacking while you're behind cover. The Man-O-War is the strongest, but it is cursed with a lot of micro nerfs when it comes to the handling times. The Shieva is an excellent anti infantry weapon, and with High Caliber you only need a single bullet. The M8A7 outguns all assault rifles when it comes to long range, and can easily hold down positions. The HVK-30 is best for mid and semi close range. It's not too shabby at long range either.

I don't really know how to describe my playstyle in this game yet. I like to rush objectives and hold defensive lines, but that is pretty difficult with the movement system (and the netcode). At least in AW I didn't need to worry about people running on walls or using some wacky specialist ability.

I play a lot of Battlefront as well and I've become adept at not ADSing (as it is a detriment in SWBF) and remaining constantly on the move. But even in that game with the jump pack the movement is very two-dimensional and "classic".

Maybe I just won't enjoy COD again until it's back to basics.

I would advise to master the free run game mode if you can. Do your best to consider the movement system as more of an ally and less of a hinderance. If you like to rush, you can take crazy and quick paths to take enemies off guard, or to provide an escape. Usually I don't rush an objective, but the area around it. Doing that will establish control and make it easier to capture the objective itself. When it comes to holding defensive lines, it all comes back to map knowledge and knowing what people can and cannot do, as well as what you can and cannot do. It is my generally guideline to be as spontaneous, random, quirky, and weird as possible when playing. Distracting or confusing enemies for a split second might make the difference between life and death. Whenever I see enemies and find them to be too far along a lane, I wallrun quickly, boost, and hit them unexpectedly. Whenever I'm being attacked and take cover behind a large piece of cover, I choose to mantle on top of the cover (because as I said, an enemy will expect you to run around the cover, not mantle on top of it) and that can get me an easy kill. Using whatever you can to get an advantage is crucial. Especially since you can wall run around most maps without ever touching the ground.

Use your map, weapon, strengths, weaknesses, enemies, game mechanics, and brain to your advantage. Knowledge is power.

I'm up 5-1 in some tournament. Other play bitches about lag after 5 kills. He mad. Pulls plug.

But tournament organizers are so shit they just don't bother advancing either of us for the hell of it.

Glad I can drop this shit next month.

Jorge, yesterday I either couldn't join your games, or got not connected to your party, or even landed in the enemy team.

No stock? I'd probably put that on instead of fast mags to improve CQC chances.

I've not played since like early December, any big buffs or nerfs to be aware of? I played 2 matches yesterday and it seems like Vesper and VMP are still the go to for a number of people.

Anyone know of any decent forums or websites with info and/or discussions about the game ? Like maybe "theorycrafting" about the weapons and attachments, what sort of builds to use or try and so on ?

I know theres probably quite a few youtubers and streamers who talk about things in their videos but dag nabit I'm too old fashioned for that shit and I find text easier and quicker to work with since lifes short and I don't have the willpower to sit through someone's 15-30 minute long video in the hope of a nugget of info that I could have read in 15 seconds.

I've had a quick peek at the games official forums, steam group and steam forum but so far this thread seems to be the most informative place.

I still need to kill some Heat Wave users after they heat me to finish Specialist Killjoys, but the ability is rare as everyone goes for the Purifier after unlocking Firebreak.

And then there's Power Core that nobody uses ever, so I'm never going to get those 5 destroyed power cores for scorestreak killjoys. I only have 1 after over 3 days of play time.

I sometimes feel like I am the only Firebreak player who ever uses that skill hell it is rare enough that I don't think I've ever even seen another Firebreak who isn't me using it.

Firebreaks are pretty rare to see in the first place.

Man I dont whats going on but every match I've joined so far of uplink, and capture the flag have been complete shit shows of spawn killing. I mean the other team doesnt bother with the objectives AT ALL. They just camp near or around the other teams spawns using the flag or ball as bait and just kills us over and over again like the cuntish of cunts. Either my team leave or I get put in a match where this is happening. I'm not going to bother with those modes anymore fucking motherfuckers.

That's because Treyarch stupidly made it so that you get huge points if you are carrying the ball or flag and kill someone. It's 250 points per kill, which will get you big scorestreaks and EXP quickly.

I have not used it yet, but judging by Drift0r's analysis it seems super useful.

They did a lot of stupid things with game-modes. I don't like how Dom doesn't have a time limit anymore. I could reliably play the mode knowing it would be 10 minutes and change so I could get a round or two in before work. Now rounds can last upwards of 15 minutes.

I haven't even tried anything except for Safeguard.

Also, why the fuck can't we see exact numbers of players in each playlist? Sure, we've got the percentage thing but that isn't as good as solid numbers.

I just started using it, it does seem pretty good.

I dont know what everyone thinks or if its viable but maybe we could setup some matches so we get through some of these challenges.
