It's not as bad as drop shotting at least. That and quick scoping are two things that need to be gone permanently. This game and the previous would be a lot better without them

Drop shotting doesn't work in this game. Boost shotting is the new drop shot and its very effective.

I'm sure this in COD I have the worst K/D but at the same time I feel a better player than I've ever been in the franchise. It's those bloody cryptokeys, making me PTFO so god damn hard.

And straight up the worst teams of all time. Keeps it interesting though, gotta say.

Could it be that there are so many different loadout combos (specialists, guns, perks, scorestreaks) and then SO MANY calling cards that people run weird combos to try and get some sort of special achievement? I mean, there was a guy on the other team yesterday who went something like 5-20 on TDM and was running around with the RK5. There's no way he was just using that as his primary because he thought that was the best way for him to get kills. I'm guessing he was trying to get an achievement that involved pistols. But, by doing so he's making his life much harder and, frankly, not even really playing to the objective. Maybe this has something to do with the "crappy teammate" phenomenon?

Not that I am some all star player but I usually finish with more kills than deaths. There was a few games I played over the weekend where I was the only person with a positive KDR.

Anyway,that is a pretty good point about calling cards and I bet that happens quite a bit. The way I look at it is if you're trying to get a calling card with some absurd class that won't net many kill you have to play FFA. That way the only person you're hurting is yourself with your poor play.
 
Fuck my fucking teammates. The one time I actually want to use a loadout that doesn't have a blackcell, my shotgun class, the enemy calls in truckloads of UAV's, C-UAV's, Sentry Guns, Guardians, and Cerberus and NO ONE on my team tries to destroy any of them.

When I think about it more, I realize I have been one of the few people trying to destroy enemy killstreaks in all my games. Rarely does someone on my team destroy a UAV or C-UAV before I can, much less the bigger killstreaks.

At least I destroyed the enemy's RAPS with my annihilator before it could drop a single spike ball. Guy must be furious.
 
Yeah, it felt good to take a team getting creamed and make 'em win.

I think that's a speciality that both Jorge and I possess, haha. In fact, soon I'll be posting a video in which my two party members disconnected, and I was practically forced to pull off a 1v6 against a full party. Right at the very end, we got all the flags for a long time and managed to win. It was kind of hilarious, though. Since you see me with ending up in first place with around 76 kills and 17 deaths, and everybody else is just going negative. I think the person in second place was going 9-11 or worse.

I hope that this video can provide inspiration and fill you all with determination. It is a testament that with enough willpower, you can overcome adversity. My party members disconnected soon after the match started, and I was left alone against a full party. You'll see me struggle to pull off a victory, which eventually ends up happening. I just wish I would've gotten the Mothership, but I got three Wraiths and two RAPs.

Edit: Upon inspection, there was one person on our team who didn't go negative. He was in last place, with ten kills and eight deaths.

I hope Treyarch has some suprises in the first DLC. With the introduction of those new melee weapons I hope we are getting more DLC weapons. More is always good.

I like the VMP but I am having a hell of a time doing the headshot challange with it. I think I have 30 so far and I have already prestiged the gun. This is going to take me forever.

Thanks. Honestly it's not hard, just time consuming. If I had started in Hardcore from the beginning I would have finished a long time ago. I think the Hero Armor challenges are more difficult.

Just read that the new zombie map is about 50% larger than The Giant.

Hoping this is still pretty sizable, really enjoyed the size of Shadows of Evil.

I'm tempted to go for it, but don't play all that much, probably 4-6 hours a week, so would ave to up that massively to even make it worthwhile.

I brought it up briefly in the thread for the new Zombies trailer, but I thought I might bring it up again here:

Has any reason been given behind certain weapons not appearing in Zombies? I mean, I can understand something like the Blackcell not showing up, but the XR-2 (3 shot burst assault rifle), Razorback (strong range/recoil SMG), and P-06 (charge burst sniper) are all completely unavailable in the mode. They aren't listed in the weapon kits section or anything. Why not?

Also, why the hell is the Pharo so weak in Zombies? It's not even a wall-buy gun, you can only get it from the mystery box. It's really only good for racking up points from body-shots.

Cant really give an answer as to why these things happen but it just does. And this is not the first time this has happened. I know that SMGs are low damage, but even compared to the other SMGs the Pharo is a joke, made worse by it's burst fire. I was able to use a VMP into the mid-20 rounds in The Giant, but the Pharo seems to be little stronger than the RK-5.

Pharo is the worst gun in zombies haha. Mostly because it's burst and the damage is realllllly poor. It also has some terrible ammo. All guns in zombies can't be good, i'm surprised at how fantastic some of the wallguns are this year

Just found out XclusiveAce did a video on the EMP grenade a while ago. Looks like he rushed it a bit though, and left some questions unanswered but it definitely sucks compared to the BO2 EMP grenades.

My guess is they were worried it would turn into another System Hack from AW.

I really don't see enough equipment around in this game to justify using one when concussions are so useful.
