On another note, I'm convinced Treyarch hates me. I always get the shitty teammates. Whenever I do get a team on my side, it's always the noob team that are most likely playing Black Ops 3 as their first FPS or something. I know, I know, it's balance and all that shit, but it's getting super tiring. Add in how connections play a HUGE part in gunfights (I average 100ms) and I'm kinda proud I can still do very well in most matches.

I think those are my primary annoyances with Black Ops 3 now. Matchmaking/team balancing and connection shit. Maybe how the movement feels inadequate as well. Yeah, I can wallrun, etc. but man, it feels, I dunno, kinda underwhelming.

Whew, finally got my first piece of Hero armor. Getting pretty bored with the game now though because of the map rotation.
Just over a week til the DLC releases.. Might actually try campaign or zombies for once in the meantime.

Took me a lot of games to finally get it. I really have problems missing with the Drakon even when I'm sure the crosshair is on someone.

Now I can never touch the Drakon again, and the only thing I need is the last sniper rifle that is really far into the level progression.

Man I'm having such a hard time getting a double kill while using Ruin's speed burst ability. I get plenty of double and triple kills but every time when the ability isn't on >.<

Only need 1 too to unlock the last bit of gear!

I'm finding the Man-O-War to be a great gun, even with the micronerfs. Though I can't decide which attachments to use.

By default I use quickdraw and foregrip, but I'd also like to use stock, long barrel, and rapid fire.

Any ideas?

Since I mostly play TDM cannot say I am a huge fan of Nomad and his swarm. Just does not seem like an ability that well net many kills.

I didn't bother with the foregrip because I thought the gun fired pretty steady without it

. I used the elo, rapidfire and the high caliber (for the head shot challange). After the headshot challange was completed I removed the high caliber and replaced it with quickdraw.

He was my second unlock, I think he's got the best specialist weapon. You have to make sure you kinda hide the swarms in bottleneck/heavy traffic areas. Stick them on the ceiling, behind boxes, etc as the radius is fairly big. If you just drop them in the middle of a hallway then people will see them and destroy them before getting close. Then you need to step back and play defensive, don't rush. Stay away from the lane where you laid the swarms and try to hold the other two lanes (which will force the other team to use your swarm lane).

You can also set them on one side of the map, and if you get bored patrolling that side, rush to the other side and flip the spawns, then they'll spawn on the side with the hives and you'll get kills. I'd say in a normal TDM game I can easily get 5-8 kills with the hive, but some games even more. I even run Overdrive so I can reload the ability faster. It works great if you're patient, but if you're someone who likes to rush it's not too valuable.

I had to put this game away so I could make progress on witcher 3.. Does anyone else feel like multiplayer games just suck up all your game/free time?

I'll get back into it when the dlc drops, love the game.

The best level to do this on is combine. I just kind of camp the spawn (the best spawn to attempt this is spawn with the trucks)

When people spawn they un right into the little house on the left which creates a bottleneck. I activated my armor, turn the corner and run into the house and there are usually a couple guys in there. If they are not there they probabaly just spawning next to the trucks. I always use sub machine guns to get double kills as using a AR can be more of a challenge.

That's me. I don't have a ton of time to play during the week or weekends so I just pick up this game when I have a free hour or two. I received fallout 4 as a christmas gift but I have yet to even open it.

Probably does not help I have this obsession to reach max prestuige on all black ops games so that is all I play.

Yeah that was a pain in the ass too, can't remember how I did it in the end but it may have been in hardcore.

Decided to take a break from the shotguns and now gone all out pistol. Gonna level up the RK5 and see if dual wielding it is any good. If anything they'll make a nice pose for the winners circle. Anyone messed around with the L-CAR 9 ? How is it ?

Yes! However it suits me perfectly since I can just have some quick games before or after work, the nature of jump in, have a few rounds and jump out is perfect for me. I save Witcher for my weekends off when I have the time to actually get into it.

I usually rush the spawn and then activate before turning any corner. There's usually at least two people camping or slow creeping the corners.

I put this game in so Fallout 4 wouldn't suck all the life out of me, but yes, multiplayer does take a lot of time. Sometimes I'll play for an hour before work and only get two games in.

I tried rushing the spawn but I choke every time lol, I tried last night on Dom Gw on infection and I had loads in front of me and my bullets didn't work and I killed none of them. Possibly using the HVK isn't the best choice either.

I got most of my double kills for specialists on GW and safe guard so in hoping that is kind to me again for the kinetic armour.

I agree totally. When I first used this specialist I thought it was useless, but since a few weeks I'm using it most of the time. Love "sowing my seeds" in an area where people tend to rush through. A bit stressy though, as I want to stay alive until my seeds have done their work. Really enjoyable specialist!

Just saw a guy that had a great barricade in the house on Infection. Guardian blocking the window in, hives blocking the stairs up. He was in a snipers fortress. Times like these I wish I ran grenades in my loadouts.

There's always a time in a game when you regret not having grenades, the game forces you to always make compromises :). You mentioned Infection: my favourite place for my Hives is that "walk-through" room in the middle where from the courtyard you can run to the side of the map where the Rock and snow is. I place my hives in both doorways, with a shock charge for added value. Gets me at least 2-3 kills every time. Infection one of my favourite maps as well.

Yeah EMP grenades destroy hives although the range seems less than regular equipment. It's possible they need line of sight but I'm not 100% sure

This is the strategy I use. High risk but the reward is amazing. Spawn on one side, push up into mid and drop 2/3 of your hives on paths behind you and 1/3 in front. Then push all the way into their spawn. They flip and rush to mid to get back to you and their whole team sets off your hives. So amazing.

Remember that Firebreak's Heat Wave will destroy Hives even AFTER they are deployed/activated (pretty much, when the drones are released and about to eat you, the Heat Wave will still destroy it).

Tomorrow for one day, rare supply drops will cost 100 COD Points instead of the normal 200. I haven't used my free 200 COD Points yet and I wonder if there is anything else they're going to let you use COD Points with.

I'm unable to buy microtransactions because I have the US version of the game and I play on an EU PSN account, so these free COD points will be my last.

Just saw a level 1000 prestige using a black-matter bowie knife in Multiplayer. Used it with the gun up too, like you would in Zombies.

Hacks are getting ridiculous in this.
