Yeah, it will be 9 drops. If one of them turns out to be a rare drop, then that makes the 3 common boxes equal to a rare box at least.
I figure you're actually right as the game will eventually run out of common items. I don't think they repeatedly drop the same stuff like in AW, do they?
I'm going to try three boxes once I get home after reading all of this. lol

So, how is the campaign from a gameplay point of view in Co-op.
I get the idea that the Story isn't very good but I don't see many people comenting on the actual gameplay and level design. I'm specially interested in the Co-op aspect of it. I've been looking around this thread and most people seem to talk as if they played it solo and didn't quite like it.
Is it the sort of co-op campaign that gets a lot more fun when playing with others? (Like Dead Space 3, RE5, Borderlands, etc)

I don't have all that much unlocked yet perk wise, but weapon wise I really love the Gorgon, the Kuda SMG and that Bronze-ish Fast firing AR..what was it called?

Burst weapons are very strong. I like using Sixth Sense, Ante Up and Blast Supressor.
It's a CoD campaign with extra players. I've played about 4 coop missions on realistic and it doesn't feel like it was built for coop; just a regular cod campaign with the ability to play with 3 others. Granted if you play on Realistic then you'll want others so you can revive each other and such.
I don't think I'd be able to beat the campaign solo due to how much I dislike the main character and how confusing the story is. You get some neat gimmicks though.

The problem isn't just the story, they took away a lot of the majority of aspects that makes CoD campaigns enjoyable, and put in a lot of unwanted changes instead, like the atrocious handholding and uncontained chaos that can't be called spectacles or good setpieces, removing weapon pick ups by default which makes the gameplay stale, and the almost non-existent level design. Coop makes things more fun but you can't polish a turd with coop.

I haven't tried yet outside of campaign, my friend who used it in MP said it was terrible. Might have to try!

So apparently downloading user-created paint jobs was touted as a feature as late as Halloween and suddenly it was removed due to "policy". What total garbage.
I thought they said they will open up that "shop" they got there and people will be able to sell their creations?

I would agree with your friend if your accuracy is abysmal, but the XR-2 is a 2 burst kill if all your bullets connect. In close quarters, it isn't that good though as faster shooting, full auto guns will probably get you. The Pharoh SMG is very strong too and works in cqc. I haven't been able to test the M8A7, but it was a beast in the beta.
The best weapon is a host connection though. Can't tell you how many gunfights I've lost due to host/connection advantage. E.g. you shoot first, kill cam shows different.
I think the prophet it lightning charge is a little better. I'm also loving the HIVE one right now, you basically get 4 bouncing bettys to place, pretty great for watching your flanks.
I actually really liked Mission 2 but that's mostly just because I love Meloni, and we got a LOT of him. The Inception-type location jumping was cool though.
The rest is OK I guess, but whoever decided to put "Warlords" in the game is a fucking asshole.
Given the performance on PC also, I'm kinda regretting this one. Should have just rented and burned through the campaign then been done with it.

I played a few chapters in co op last night ( i refuse to play this alone ) with another 3 strangers. hardned dificulty, it was fun... Not on the same level as gears/halo/Destiny but fun as well. Story Quality.... I couldnt care less about it...
One thing i found really anoying were the cut scenes. Im not sure if the host was playing for the first time.... But they should've add a vote system to skip the cut scenes... It kills the pace...
Also im not sure if you can comunicate with your team but i wish there was something simple like the Souls games or Destiny...some kind of gesture...
Tonight i will start from scratch with friends so i will have a better judgement about it....
Its good that they finally added co op campaign, been wishing for that a while ago...
Hope they improve this on a next instalment...

Weird, the first time I went to the multiplayer screen my NAT type was open. I closed the game and made a party that my friend joined.
Immediately I got a message saying something like because of the NAT type you may not be able to talk or something idk but when I got to the main screen, I went to network and now my NAT type was moderate? You guys have any idea why my NAT changed?

My NAT has always shown as moderate and I'm not sure as to why either. Is this a classic reboot router situation?

There's a report feature built in for bad skins. Either way, you can already make your purple dong sniper on your own, I just wanted to download some of the awesome, non purple dong user-made skins :\
Enable UPnP in your router if you haven't already.

It's a hybrid system If you're lucky enough To be near a Server You're good. I'm live really close to the NY server so my connections have been great.
Far as I read it, it will only put you into P2P if the dedicated servers ar enot reachable for some reason.
At least PC wise.
No idea about consoles.
Zombies matchmaking seems better today. Still quite often get into games with more than 4 players which should not be the case.

I have been playing team death match since day one, maybe 3 hours a day and I have not played nuke town once! I downloaded the map and everything. Is anybody having the same problem?

The winning quotes at the end of the online matches are beyond annoying and stupid.
Nuketown only shows up in the "bonus" playlist "nuketown only"
Man,people really don't like those.
I don't mind them at all, it's just a little thing for the top 3 players.
It's listed under the bonus playlists by itself.

Haymaker with laser sight, long barrel, extended mags and rapid fire, no competition. I'm just having a lot of fun with it compared to the other guns, even if it is worthless in the more open areas.
Sure hope it won't get nerfed.

Yeah listening to it after playing for one hour makes me cringe
Big problem is also that people haven't gotten different things unlocked from the black market yet.
You can use taunts and such during that winner posing too and all the specialists have different cheers you can unlock.
you have to go to the bonus playlist in order to play it
Reaper's "Full Metal Everything" line got a chuckle out of me.
I don't mind them, but they do waste a lot of time.

Make sure you are both on the same game version. Had that issue when one of us would restart and then the game would update. Any other time it wasn't about game version we would just go to main menu and then rejoin. Only happened like twice.
