Surprised to hear this... I think this is the first console CoD since CoD4 (for me, at least) that I consistently have been playing well, going at least 2.0 KDR each match. Usually I go less than 1 on console CoD's. Then again, each game has been near-perfect for me latency wise.

Curious as to how others are finding their games' latency, comparing that to their connection. Been hearing some really conflicting reports.

Yeah, I have quick draw and grip. I will give it some more time and see if it starts to click for me.

The other thing you can try is rather than ADS and then fire, fire while bringing up the sights. Then you get the first round off as you're bringing the sights up.

I've put just over 23 hours into MP so far and I haven't experienced a single disconnection or any noticeable lag. Really surprised since this wasn't the case for any other COD launch week/weekend.

There's a network section on the start menu which actively provides connection status info, including telling you if your match is on dedis or p2p.

The lag has not been an issue for me. Whats hurting me is the amount of hitmarkers I seem to be getting. I am getting 6 hit markers then somehow I end up dying first.

Another issue is that I am struggling to aim. I am just flat out miss people that I should be hitting which is on me. Other times it's seemd I should be hitting guys but because I am not dead center I miss.

Bought this on Xbox One as I just got the elite controller.

Just played a match online and my I just can't shake the feeling that the graphics are blurry looking. Even on the main menus, the text and menus look sharp (so I can eliminate my display being the issue), but the dude in the background looks odd.

Not trying to troll or anything here (I want the game to be great on Xbox), but this is odd.

I played the beta on both PS4 and XBO, and I definitely noticed the PS4 version being more crisp. Enemies stood out more on PS4 where as I would sometimes miss them from far away on XBO as they seemed to blend more into the background. I think it was 1080 vs 900 in the beta. Not sure if that changed for full release; probably not. I think I read somewhere that PS4 is upscaled anyways.

I still went with XBO because the graphics look good enough for me, more friends on XBO, I want to take advantage of the elite controller especially with the new movement system, I've always bought the cod series on xbox, and I don't really care about the one month delay map packs.

The more and more I play this, I'm convinced this has the best moment to moment gameplay of any Call of Duty thus far. Everything just meshes so well and the guns feel awesome. I know a lot of people compare it to Titanfall, the moment that is, but honestly I like the more heavy nature of Black Ops 3 versus Titanfalls very floaty movement.

spaceship thing on the 2nd to last mission where you have to shoot the jets, avoiding its gunfire and missiles, which sometimes it would shoot 8 at me before I even grabbed the minigun as well as shooting/avoiding the exploding red balls.

No lies took me about 2 hours to finish.
Here's my strategy for beating it.

At the start, run to the right and head to the lift that brings up the minigun. You have to turn the jets from blue to white, then on fire (orange). You have 4 jets to shoot. Shoot all the jets to white before it fires the exploding ball things. As its deploying them, you can shoot 2 of the jets, so at this point you have got 6 of 8. Shoot a couple of the red ball things, but for me they kept getting stuck until the ship flew back overhead. When the ship pops back up shoot the last two while avoiding the rockets and gunfire. As soon as I got the last 2 jets, I hid behind a wall so it didn't kill me.

The whole campaign has been very annoying on realistic, but this level takes the biscuit.

Yeah I basically said NOPE to trying it on realistic when there is only 50 gamerscore and it sounds controller breaking hard. I started on normal but should start over on the next higher difficulty so I can at least get myself the achievements associated with playing on higher than normal.

4 players in the party is pushing it and gives alot of problems with joining games and getting kicked out. Now we are with 6 people, and we got in 1 game in about a hour. :<

I am part of the below 1.0 KD club. Being this my first COD in years and the fact that it's the first time I play a competitive FPS with a controller, after 20+ years of M/K adds to the challenge, but I'm still having fun.

Agree! Great way to learn the maps as well. Also forces you to get used to weapons you would not normally use. And fun as well .

Impossible to tell in the long run now, but based on blops2 pc, no. This has been hovering around top 10 since release. It's more a case of its playerbase is the best you could hope for in releasing a full priced shooter on PC.

Don't worry lol, I'm a mature gamer and am always around 0.5. I doubt even if age has anything to do with it. Enjoying the game and any ratio > 0.5 is always pleasing. I have both version and yeah the PS4 version looks a little crisper but to be honest, the difference is really small, so small i don't even care. Just that the Xbox One's version is blurry in some spots in some maps, for the rest both versions seem to be the same for me.

Overall, both versions play well. I prefer the Xbox One's pad for shooters and right now, i'm enjoying that version more but i will be active on both versions as i have friends that play on both.

I think there's something weird going on, as I'm the same, usually 1.5-2 KDA in AW, Ghosts, and Black Ops II but I'm having a lot of off games here, currently sitting around 0.9. I'm not sure if it's the lag or netcode (which is supposed to be among the best) or the combination of small maps with low TTK that's somehow throwing me off. It's weird though and I don't think it's necessarily a problem with older gamers.

I typically do better in parties though so if anyone wants to group up in an hour or two let me know

They are blurry. I have the game on ps4 and x1, and it's a night and day difference between the two.

Who cares what they say about weapons honestly. If you enjoy it and you are good with it, why not.

you get extra xp for finishing challenges for individual weapons. but there isn't really a secret for leveling up faster. you just kind of have to be good at the game lol

You want to set up your classes so they're building towards as many challenges as possible. Variety is key, so you're constantly completing little bonuses early on and building towards huge XP payoffs down the road.

As far as chests, I'm just gonna keep saving for the 30s. I got an epic on my first standard chest but then struck out on three, all having boring looking commons.

I'm not as good at this game as I was BO2 but I could hit rank 55 and prestige in that game in like 10-12 hours or something like that. I hit the master prestige at about 5 days playtime in BO2.

Almost 24 hours to prestige is way too much for my liking. Think I'll just pass on it altogether.

i think anything "common" is pretty much worthless. its the rare/legendary stuff that is cool (more skins for your specialists, gun attachments etc.)
