Also, for some reason when I hold down the button to sprint my gun is switching to the alt fire. Really weird because i've never had that happen in any COD game before. Right now I'm playing a loadout with no grenade launcher so it doesn't happen.
I've been messing around with it, seems alright.Radec said:anybody here tried the specialst yet? unlocks at level 20.
Mechanized said:Oh christ Black Ops all over again. Let me guess, it's near impossible to snipe properly as every roost has like 3 entrances?
R2D4 said:Well the Hardened Edition is a let down. Why such a big box for a dumb art booklet and credit card sized thing. Just cram them both in the steel book. What a waste of money and paper.
i thought the same damn thing.R2D4 said:Well the Hardened Edition is a let down. Why such a big box for a dumb art booklet and credit card sized thing. Just cram them both in the steel book. What a waste of money and paper.

Your opinion is just so right.MustacheBandit_ said:i feel horrible that I activated this game (it was steam gifted to me). i wish i could regift it and give it to somebody who likes this crap. the game is soooo bad![]()
Brian Fellows said:IMO its way worse than Black Ops. Every map on this game feels like Silo from Black Ops to me.
Other than no FoV option, no console commands, and making dedicated servers unranked its excellent.Pandoracell said:How's the PC version? Better port than Black Ops?
PalaceBrother said:How does the system know that I'm playing the hardened edition (which includes Elite)? Do I need to enter the founder code in that 360 Elite application or something?
Omiee said:seriously anyone?
i found sites that said it had an option to be controller by a gamepad or 360 controller but i cant find the option

It's not something that can easily be attributed to presentation, but you just really get a sense (lag aside, obviously) of when you're landing shots. It's not just a CoD thing - it was back in Quake 3 arena too, when people were trading rockets with rail-guns.
I will say, I kinda wish the guns SOUNDED as powerful as they 'felt' though. Take the sounds from BF and the weapon feedback from CoD, and you might have legit 'Gun Porn'.

WTF man. I can't believe that it doesn't allow me to play with a controller on PC. Unless I am missing some hack.
This game feels terrible on the PC with M&K.
Yep. Seriously annoying.Strider2K99 said:Does anyone else get this problem where after certain things in game (joining a party, joining lobbies, etc.) the game freezes for a few seconds. I'm getting that hardcore and it's annoying.

The difference in graphics between single-player and multiplayer is like night and day. Two totally different games.
I don't remember a gap like this since Rainbow Six Vegas in 2006, where the multiplayer basically looked like Rainbow Six 3 on the original xbox.
Yeah, I am still seeing those yellow diggers and I am sure the drinks machines are in there also.Nora Kisaragi said:Idk if this validates its own thread so i'll post it here

Apparantly the game contains recycled buildings from Modern Warfare 1, yikes.

Dreaver said:Quick inpressions from 1-2 hour of games.
- Game plays like Modern Warfare. Which I prefer above Blops.
- Game feels better balanced then Modern Warfare 2.
- Maps are grey, urban and dull.
- Graphics aren't changed. Sound is improved a little bit.
- I loved the fact MW2 had a lot of vertical combat. (<3 Faleva)
- Recoil is back baby, good thing.
- As stated before, SMGs feel more like SMGs and Assault more like Assault.
- Shitload of unlocks. Always fun.
- Damage is way too high.
LifEndz said:This engine is really starting to show its age. I have the PS3 version and the colors just look so bland. I tried upping the color bar on my tv and it didn't do much. I can overlook that were it not for the lag, which makes the whole online experience really frustrating. I will say that guys go down much quicker than they used to. I'm going to jump into the single player campaign to see whether the sprint/alt fire problem is something unique to the multiplayer.
I won't have a complete opinion on the game until I get some games going with my friends, but at this point I'm kinda glad I didn't spend the extra 30 bucks for the hardened edition...got a feeling I'll have re-sold this long before the dlc comes out.
Brian Fellows said:I like that when you are trying to join a friends match it doesn't dick you around for 30 seconds before finally letting you know the match is full.
