Mission map, there's that tall bridge that you can jump off. Dunno if that's 30ft though, don't really think so, but it's still the tallest place I can think of right now.

I thought I'd read that MW3 was going to have a $10 off coupon for a year of Elite in it.. but my copy didn't have that. Was that exclusive to a certain retailer or something?

I only played the solo for like 15 mins but I knew I recognized his voice. I think the character's name was Trucks.

Is the 30ft jump some sort of challenge or achievement? I'm checking all the maps now and can't think of anywhere that's that high. Maybe, as I said, the bridge over at Mission. But even then I'm not sure.

I thought we got 2 hours double exp as well with the elite founders edition whatever its called? Hardened edition was so weak with i'd went regular instead.


Played last night with a bunch of people from here. Even though I was playing horribly while I was tired and shoulda been asleep it was fun and we won every game I think.

Edit: I also put my Elite code in at midnight of launch and I got nothing extra.

God damn specialist is the way to go. Racked up 20,000 plus exp from kills and bonuses and when you get that shit going you're a walking army. Holy shit I love it.

Also, how do you report players in this game? Just had a guy grief me 4 out of 5 rounds in HardCore Search. I think that should be a 3 day ban ;)

Click on their name and it should have an option to report players.

You can also open up your friends list (Triangle/Y) and hit right to see the recent players list. TKers deserve to be punished. Spoiled by lack of friendly fire. :/

How does the specialist pack exactly work? And how is your setup? I have heard it's very fast to rack up exp but I would like to know what does give you so much exp :p

This game is like an abusive wife/husband, one game I go 18-0 and the next I'm 0-12! Pretty sure the net ode has something to do with the amount of people running support, with the amount of lag based deaths going on its no wonder people are wanting to guarantee they're going to get some kill streaks.

Is anyone coming to this game after skipping Blops? I'm not much of an FPS fan, but I had a hell of a good time with MW2 online, bizarrely enough (I hated the single-player, however).

This game was definitely one of the easier Veteran campaigns I've played. (Found MW2 harder than WaW, recalling from memory.) I noticed that your teammates are much stronger in this one than usual. It seems for some specific spots they would kill everything for you. It did get pretty tough at spots, in particular near the end of the final missions. These games are not very well balanced on the highest difficulty so it can feel like luck at times when you get passed some areas.

All in all, I liked it for a quick(though it took me 8 hours somehow) shallow ride. Personally I love the stories in these games and lack of shame in using them as an excuse for spectacle. The games linked rather well to MW1 and MW2 in a flashback moment which was surprising.

I dread the period every time pick up a new Call of Duty game and totally suck at it and getting lost in maps lol. Now I am finally getting a hold of it. Running and gunning in Kill Confirm(or w/e) is quite awesome. Great addition to Team Deathmath, which is lame in CoD. I also like what they did with Killstreaks. Leveling shit is tedious still.

Shotguns seem to suck compared to the way they were in MW2.


EDIT: There should be an option to auto-mute people with the Joint Ops title.

WEIRD. got on the Elite console app, and even though i've used it 4 or 5 times it's just now telling me that my Gamertag isn't linked to my account. wtf?

linked it. going back to MW3.... andddddd....

still nothing. FFFFFFF

reset xbox, got it! SWEET!

I just started using it so instead of killstreaks you get perks so basically if you rack up a lot of kills your running a bunch of pro perks all at once. I'm not sure about the XP though. I was giving me out all these pro bonuses for my kills.

Yeah, WaW was just one I couldn't let beat me. I was playing it and thinking this grenade spam is downright cheap, but then I would walk away, think about tossing my controller out a window and take a break. I finally got past Corkscrew and Heart of the Reich after many hours of cursing in front of my television on Veteran. I'm thinking about going back and beating COD2 and COD3 on Veteran so that I'll have finished all 7 of the 360 titles on Vet, but I don't know if I have the motivation right now ;)

Oh jeeze, they still haven't managed to make a map as bad as that one. They've tried with Rundown and Downturn but they still can't seem to force themselves with that level of shittiness.

Some I played with from here last night had LT RT LT RT as actual buttons in there clan tag. Saw it for 2nd time tonight as buttons. Not sure how but it's dumb.
