The final area once you are inside. The outside part was fantastic, but the inside was a test to see how fast I would get pissed off I guess. Extremely disliked it, and it was a shitty way to end the game's final gunplay sequences.
Awesome parts:

This game's "No Russian". BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRDS! I laughed so fucking hard. Wrong reaction I know, but it was done so poorly I couldn't help but bust out laughing.
Overall thoughts:
The least amount of shooting ever in a CoD campaign. You are either running to a point completely avoiding conflict, riding in some on rails sequence, or just flat out going from point A to point B avoiding fights. Quick time events a plenty, and the overall gunplay I felt was the weakest in CoD games. A.I buddies in more than one sequence wear the same color outfits as enemies, and you'll quickly end up shooting team mates on accident. Throw in the awful get shot once and your gun shoots to the sky so you can't defend yourself mechanic, and you'll get a lot of cheap deaths. Thankfully(also shitty) is the fact that the game is so short, that the frustration doesn't hit fever pitch like World at War which still has the worst campaign of any CoD.
It was a solid way to end the trilogy, but I much preferred MW1(best in the series) and MW2's campaign. Black Ops probably would be tied with this, but the overall story is slightly better here thanks to memorable characters.

This game is such a rollercoaster for me. Yesterday I was doing pretty good and we won a lot of games but this morning I was constantly getting shot from the back, dropping like a fly everytime the enemy saw me and losing every close match (two 7400-7500 losses and one 7300-7500 loss). Damn, this shit is frustrating when things are not going your way.
And I don't get the graphics hate... show me a better looking FPS console game that runs at 60 fps? I think COD has some of the best gun models and animation there is and I will always prefer a smooth framerate over some fancy effects or better lighting. Well, I haven't seen the PS3 version but it can't be that much worse than 360 which looks pretty good to me.

Agreed, I finally unlocked it at level 27, and I've had some of my best rounds yet using it, and I admittedly am not very good at the multiplayer, but in free for all it's been a heaven sent. I finally got to 1.0 in K/D, about 500 kills and 500 deaths. I'm not sure how well it will work in other game modes, but in free for all it's helping quite a bit. I'm a level 31 now after 8 hours in the multi.

Does anyone play this through a surround sound setup? I don't seem to be getting sound via the rear speakers, especially the chatter. I've noticed this before but not really cared, but I'd like to sort it out now as I need to face the talking person in order to hear them.
I'm connected to a Sony DAV-DZ260 via the optical cable. The 5.1 sound option on the xbox settings is selected. There is a WMA option, nit sure if that makes any difference.

Had the most fun I've ever had playing call of duty tonight. Met some cool players and grouped up with them for like 7 hours of hardcore search and destroy, and a little bit of team defender.
Highlights were:
Wrecking a team with just a USP (my favorite gun)
Wrecking a team with the striker on village of all maps
Going 22-2 on overpass hc s&d soloing the enemy team twice
Playing a party of excellent female players. We barely won.
Discovering how much of a blast team defender is with a good group
Lag problems are pretty much nonexistent in hardcore for me. Guns are awesome. Customization is awesome. Killstreak options are awesome. Toned down explosives are SO much better. No map ruined the fun, infact I like them all just fine.
Best call of duty ever for my tastes.

Funny enough, others say that the snipers are the most overpowered, others say the Type 95, and others say the ACR. With so many "overpowered" weapons, you'd think they are all on the same level, and in the end none is really so overpowered.CozMick said:

I fucking hate the multiplayer in this game with a passion. I've gotten multiple nukes in MW2 and used to be in the top 800 for a while in Blops with SpM but for some reason I just keep getting killed and it seems impossible for me to keep a solid kill streak going. It's infuriating!

I'm not having that much trouble getting helicopters regularly in Team Deathmatch (6 kills with hardline), and with the copter in the air I usually get another 5. I'm a decent player, but not great. K/d is 1.46 currently. I focus on controlling the power points on each map (if there is one).

Some people have colored elite titles, not sure how that is.
How well you play depends almost entirely on your connection to host. Such lopsided stats. Almost every round there will be like two guys that are 35-2 and every other play is breaking even. Something's not right. I am an average player but I never got this fucking POUNDED in COD 4 and MW2.

That's interesting since Blops has the worst spawning system of any multiplayer shooter ever. I'm finding the opposite true. Running specialist in ffa and getting 8+ killstreaks to unlock all perks about every other game. So fun not relying on ai choppers and doing all the dirty work myself and being rewarded to keeping doing that better. Although getting host every game and using the UMP might be considered a tad cheap. At least it isn't grenade launchers eh?Sec0nd said:

Fuck yeah, got all my elite shit.
The silver elite and the green elite title. The broken skull and the red skull with chevron emblems and my winter weapon camo.
I think one set of titles/emblems is for using elite, and the other is for being a founder.
Edit: Yep, I'm right. It shows founders status for me on elite now.

Just finished the campaign on normal. I think this is one of the first CoD campaigns where I wasn't tired of doing the big, all out war set pieces. Even with MW2 I was a little tired just constantly fighting. The set pieces blew me away with almost every level. Probably give it a bit of time before going back through on Veteran while collecting all the Intel. Actually, I may go through 4, MW2, and then do my Veteran run with MW3 for the whole story.

Still slightly disappointed we didn't get an after credits level. I really thought we would get more. Don't know if I want another Modern Warfare with who we have left but I want to see the aftermath!
