I understand fixing something that isn't working as intended, but they need to do something with the shotguns that doesn't resemble nerfing them even more.
They need to do the following to fix them (although the striker needs a slight closerange buff as well as a long range nerf):
- Make The Spas-12, 1887, and KSG all do 40 damage per pellet at close range (there is no reason the shotguns should do LESS damage per pellet than they did in previous call of duties)
- Make the USAS, Striker, and Masterkey deal 30 damage per pellet at close range
- Make the AA-12 deal 20 damage at close range (it does a measily 15 right now)
- Reduce the Striker's ranged damage to 5 instead of 15. It'll still be easy to get kills with it thanks to it's tight spread and spamability.
- Make the USAS fire faster. That way it would be better at long range while also giving.
- GIVE THE AA12 MORE AMMO. Why the fuck would anyone use a primary that requires scavenger in order to take out more than two enemies.
- Change the Specialist package so that you don't unlock all the proficiencies when you reach the specialist bonus. That way the shotguns won't be overpowered when you reach said bonus.
