"76 killstreak in 1 minute", all from one spawn.

Damn, just... damn. I knew the spawns in this game were terrible, but this exceed expectations.

Something like this happened to me in Hardhat, that one spawn spot on the low ground, in front of that little building which is in front of the pipe. Someone on top the construction site to the right of my team mowed us down, killed me three times while spawning lol.

Okay, what I said earlier about the spawning seeming worse than what it is because of the size of the maps, I take that back. Spawning is shit in this game lol. I have never seen a team just spawn into the sights of a single player before in any other game, and if someone has a video of this happening in another game then post it.

I don't have a video but me and my friends once set up a total spawn trap on MW2 Wasteland Sabotage. They were spawning into our sights and everything.

I imagine that took some coordination for your team to set up though. I have seen entire teams lay down some pretty nasty spawntraps like that, I've just never seen one guy spawn trap a whole team by himself before.

I had an entire team spawn in front of me right after they all got predatored by a teammates and I just switched to xm25. 12 kills in 5 seconds.

So I was suggested by a Youtube commenter to start playing Team Defender, and man that is one of the best decisions I've ever made. That mode is an absolute blast.

In other news, have you guys looked at our clan site recently? There is like 20 some people asking for invites lol.

Just went 50-3. Never had a game that good in any COD before. ACR with Thermal & Kick. Amazing how accurate it is. Called in 3 attack helicopters and 3 pavelows.

I don't know how to find it but there's a "top killcam of the week" where someone just aims a Barrett at one of the spawns on Skidrow and gets like 12 people who spawn in his scope. And there are countless clips of people doing it on Bog.

The guy shows you his team and says "look, we aren't even spawn trapping!" ...but they are. There's one guy prone in a spawn spot, one guy's sitting in one and one guy's on the move in one, which leaves the one the main guy's using to get hundreds of kills.

I've seen it in COD4 and Blops as well though (demo/dom on blops was notorious for it, especially on jungle).

I don't have the clip but this was happening in TDM in BF3 as well. Hell, the spawns in TDM on BF3 make COD's spawn system look like some futuristic advanced stuff :lol I pretty much started a couple rounds with people in my view.. on the initial spawn!! LOL

Scavenger – Resupply ammo and lethal/tactical grenades from enemies (except smoke). Pro: Start with full ammo. (resupplied lethal/tactical includes Semtex and all other items with "grenade" in the title)

Assassin – Invisible to enemy UAV. Pro: Invisible to thermal and no red name and crosshair when targeted.

Dead Silence – Move quietly. Reduce the effects of Recon. Invisible to motion sensors and heartbeat sensors. Pro: No fall damage.

Scavenger buffed to actually be competitive. Assassin nerfed as it currently does way too much. Moved a few of its effects to Dead Silence, allowing DS to protect against all the niche stuff that becomes too good in Search and Destroy.

Thoughts?

I'd give full ammo +1 extra special or lethal to overkill pro and nerf machine pistols to make overkill competitive.

I agree that assassin is way OP. If scav resupplies specials, I think there needs to be a small flash/stun nerf because it lasts forever in its current state but isn't a huge issue since everyone only gets 2 per life.

+1 for a flashbang nerf. Should last four or five times shorter than it does now.

I wanna see the Scrambler be as useful as the Jammer was, too.

They must've been spawn trapping. To get a guy like spawning in one spot like that, more than one person has to be influencing the spawns.

The guy getting trapped like that should feel lucky the other guy was using a sniper rifle, otherwise he might not have gotten out! Y'know, I don't wanna fault the developers too much for stuff like this happening, but most FPS's, not just CoD, seem to have a serious lack of play testing before release. It just makes me wonder how much different CoD would be now if the games didn't have to get released on a yearly schedule and were given a bit more polish. Oh, and I've heard bad things about the spawns in BF3's TDM, and that's why I've steered clear of that mode lol.

I don't see the big deal of that spawn trap video. His team set up a spawn trap and he executed it. His was a little bit easier than those you usually see, not a big deal because it was set up and pre-determined.

It can be done to some extent on every cod and most maps, probably in other games as well. I could tell it was on reddit, too, as most of the YT comments talked about how much cod sucks and to buy bf3 and skyrim.. woot!

Gotta love the internet.

I agree with Assassin nerf, but I'd still like a perk that keeps electronics through an EMP. Also, since explosives are pretty poor, how about making Blast Shield Pro similar to Danger Close. This would give them similar damage as MW2 default.

- Move the emp and counter uav preotection to blast shield pro.
- move motion sensor resistance to sitrep pro. One of the good things about black ops was you couldn't be hard to detect in every way possible.
- make quickdraw pro speed up the process of calling in point rewards
- Change the character models so that you can immediately know if someone has assassin pro just by looking at them

Okay, serious question time. Does anyone have any good techniques/classes for Hardhat? I HATE that map :(
 
I just run assault rifle, I always double back, and I always look on the mini-map for places my teammates aren't, and make sure I'm covering that route

Does anybody else feel support is just horrible in this game, its an easy way to get Killstreaks and it makes me angry because the emp is way to easy to get. It should be 25 imo.

I dunno man, 18 is pretty high. And Assassin and Specialist package negate it completely.

The stupid stealth bombers and emp's really drive me nuts, every 2 minutes it seams they are dropping stealth bombers. I even hate my teams since it throws off my aim. It is just mad annoying to have to deal with it the whole match

I totally agree about the stealth bomber . I cringe when its coming because I expect to get killed half the time. And not because of the blast but the screen shake!

Change emp to 22 and stealth bombers to 18 that I can deal with, but man I hate support players so much lol. I just feel its way to easy to get killstreaks.

It's been ages since I played last, but the game seems a lot more fun than I remember. The spawns/level design don't bother me as much as they used to, and the speed with which weapons kill also doesn't seem ridiculous to me. I'm also seeing shotguns being used much more often. Looking forward to the new DLC that is dropping in January - that Central Park map looks pretty fun.

Thing is, though, 18 isn't very high in objective modes and terrible teams winning overtime Demolition because they saved up 6 stealth bombers and 2 EMPs is bullshit. Also, Assassin does not negate the fact that an EMP stops you from launching killstreaks... A terrible kid going 18-38 really shouldn't be able to completely negate my legit osprey gunner.

Maybe if a friendly EMP could cancel it (even though that makes zero sense), or if there was an "emergency generator" killstreak or something.
 
So when do I unlock the perk that makes my bullets do shit?

I'm a little tired of drawing down on a guy 20 feet away, filling him with perfectly-placed lead, only for him to sprint through my bullets and shotgun or akimbo me.

EDIT: LOL, bad game is bad.

Ok, after some testing I think I like range on the spas12 over damage. It's still not a contender for best shotgun though due to the game's lag.

Also, I was wondering where that double xp came from out of nowhere. I gotta use my token now!

I think from now on I'm gonna use all my remaining tokens on double weapon XP at the start of each prestige. I've already got the rest of my go to class unlocked. The only thing its missing is the silencer for my G36. Which I'll be able to unlock pretty quickly with the double weapon XP.

Extra classes helps sooooo much! Having 7 classes means I can switch based on the map (Mission, Fallen, Seatown is Shotgun class, some are G36c) or situation (Stinger). Sometimes I need Dead Silence, other times Sitrep, or mode, trophy system, SMAW etc. All the classes keeps me in the positive. Weapon XP comes with time anyway.
 
Just discoverd the prestige token glitch. Lol. I have every class unlocked as well as each weapon, perk, and deathstreak. I also have a ton of double xp and double weapon xp. Amazing.
