Pete Carroll Owns Me
This whole thing seems like its going to be a giant clusterfuck.
does anyone know how the logistics of this work for Elite subscribers on 360? Will be items on Xbox Live Marketplace with a price of £00.00, will the downloads come through the Elite app, just appear as a MW3 patch... or what?

Liberation reminds me a lot of that one BF3 map that always gets shown
One mp7 map and one g36c map I guess.
Though I'm sure the latter will be 90% Type 95.
Just finished the single player today. Obviously with Call of Duty you have to take it for what it is, but I thought it was pretty good. It was the first one since probably COD4 I didn't regret playing on Veteran, since I've now beat every COD game on Veteran and most of them end up obscenely frustrating at various points.
On to multiplayer.

Agreed on pretty much everything. I'd give Rapid Fire a mention though. It honestly feels like cheating when paired with Steady Aim.

It almost looks as if the entire opposing team were snipers

I haven't had a lot of time to play MW3, but in the short amount of time I did play I did notice how small the maps were (I saw the complaints when the game came out, but wasn't able to play until late December).
What are the best/biggest maps for the time being?
Lmao good god it IS soothing. Cup of tea, classical music and computers putin commentary would put me to sleep. Are you always that relaxed sounding?most of them were. Honestly though I rather have been up against a team full of assault rifle users; Knowing there were so many people using sniper rifles just made moving around the map a nerve-wrecking experience, it just feels like people don't miss with a sniper rifle.
edit: someone left a comment saying my voice is soothing lololololololol
Did anyone purchase the MW3 controller for the 360? Any impressions?
Its the same as the stock new XBOX 360 controller. Its great.
I read it has a textured finish. Is that on the front and back?

The best maps are Dome (sorry newmie), Hardhat, Underground, Village, Lockdown, Arkaden, and Bootleg. Only Village is big.
Yeah I am actually lol. I'm extremely polite and even tempered most of the time in public and I can't really shake it, even for a commentary. Thing is, I don't know if soothing is a good thing for a commentary.....
How in the hell do you find yourself that lucky? Haha, that team was fucking terrible (in the 2nd video). I never run into teams that bad. My longest kill streak is only 13, so I have no chance of ever getting a MOAB. Even your own team was terrible, as they weren't killing anyone so you were able to get up to 24 kills. I'm not discrediting your skills btw, you played a very smart game. I only play Team Deathmatch and have over 6 days of online time, but have yet to ever get into a game where I'm just on fire and can stay alive for more than 13 kills, mostly due to the revenge spawns. I run around the outskirts of the map exclusively, so I get punished for being too good at flanking. I can't force myself to stay in one spot and let them come to me. I hate camping.Alright, I went ahead and did my first 2 commentaries and decided to upload them ( recorded at different times, but I uploaded them together) and I'm not sure how I feel about the commentaries, I sound a little...... tentative at times. It's a little wierd talking to yourself in a room about a game tbh and it still doesn't feel natural, though I suppose that's something that will come with repitition. I'd really, really like feedback on the videos as I feel like there is a bit for me to work on, and be honest please.
The first commentary is a video I go 59-2 on in Killconfirmed. MOAB running assault
Second video is a 41-2 TDM MOAB running specialist
The spawn system still sucks, are they even planning to fix it?
It's funny how we expect people to sound a certain way. Good video.
Normally don't watch any gameplays, but for whatever reason I did. Good video, gameplay, commentary.

I appreciate the comments. It really, really means alot to hear I did a decent job on the videos. I'm curious to know how you guys expected me to sound though lol.
You have spoken a few times about your high K/D and I just assumed you would sound more...arrogant? That's the trouble with the internet; it is too easy to ascribe perceived traits to someone's personality.
You can't fix the spawns on these maps. Seriously, it is literally impossible to have a decent spawn system on at least half of these maps even with more spawn-friendly gametypes like TDM. Only maps that have the potential for decent spawns (for 6 v 6) are:
- Bakaara
- Resistance (maybe not)
- Bootleg
- Downturn (everyone loves to hate on the map, but I have never been spawn-killed or reverse-spawn-killed on that map)
- Underground
- Outpost
- Fallen
Everything else is reminiscent of Showdown and Nuketown in terms of shitty map design.
Why would you prefer that?Right. But I am an Elite subscriber.
I would prefer having a longer wait in between the maps and get more at once than having them handed out in smaller batches more frequently. But that isn't the way they are going to do it, so I cannot complain really.

Eh, I don't know. Why would you prefer that?
I'm not too familiar with all the maps, but if they had a system where you spawned at the farthest point from all the enemies at a given moment - wouldn't that solve the issue? I guess it's easier said than done, but I'm just thinking out loud.
Edit: As it is now, I feel like I'm spawning - literally - in front of enemies. In my mind, my ideal spawn system would take a look at enemy locations, aggregate the farthest position from all of them while still taking into consideration my teammates (so I'd spawn near a teammate who was the furthest from all the enemies).
