Calling someone an "NPC" is a pretty weak insult. You look like a moron when you use it.

It's like racist or karen or nazi. We use words to shut down conversation we don't want to have

Karen is legit, you're not taking that .

There's a Karen in my office called Karen, that only yesterday shouted at a staff member for not wearing his mask whilst she too was not wearing a mask!!

If you have to resort to calling someone an NPC, chances are there was no "conversation" actually happening.

Also lol @ it being the same as racist or nazi. Damn we are just destroying all nuance aren't we? So now being called an NPC puts you next to the holocaust and global slave trade victims. Suuuure.

Nuance? There hasn't been any nuance towards terms like racist, sexist, rapist, transphobic, nazi, or similar terms for years now. They are overly used by mentally ill degenerates looking for attention.

As any other insult it doesn't really move me but I find it funny because usually people that think they are deep thinkers or that they have some kind of an insight throw it around. I mean, when I see someone using it I kind of know that it's probably related to an imaginary higher ground that only exist to that other person. It's just funny.
