A-fucking-mazing. 343 is gaining a ton of goodwill with this collection.

Cannot wait, just don't know why they didn't provide the video in 60fps? Even Xbox Wire links to the Youtube video.

Less then a month, less then a month...

Love it. The way I felt basically after hearing about all of the options.

Holy cow that's pretty cool. Maybe I'll end up going for most (if not all) of the achievements afterall.

Just imagine if this game and Forza Horizon 2 launched at the same time XB1 did.

Subjectivity and all, and Destiny has some wider areas (much wider, but there's a lot of loading inbetween areas that sometimes hitches), I think Halo 4's art style and overall look trumps Destiny's.

That's a testament to how well 343i designed the look and assets of the game.

Seemed like you were talking about graphics. Didn't realize you just prefer the art.

Playing missions over and over again in Halo MCC is better than Destiny, confirmed.

That scoring system + medals + leaderboards + rivals system looks like a fun way to play.

In all seriousness this looks like the single greatest value I've ever seen in a single $60 title. Bravo 343 you beautiful beautiful devs you. What a love letter to the Halo fanbase.

I tend to think they're one and the same. You can have the best graphics in the world, but if I'm only seeing brown and grey (killzonecallofdutyspecops), I'll naturally gravitate towards more interesting looking games (vietifuljoejakanddaxtersunsetoverdrive).

While Destiny isn't a looker to me (there's vast emptiness a lot of the time, but draw distance is good), its art style is unique, and there are some stunning moments, particularly when you're engaging with alien technology or some bosses. I just find Halo 4's to be more unified towards a certain vision, and after the upres and framerate adjustments, I don't think I have a hard time believing that I'll prefer Halo 4 to Destiny.

Full disclosure: I did not particularly enjoy Destiny as a game, so infer some bias on my end what you will; I also did not particularly enjoy Halo 4 as a game, much less so its multi.

This title is a tribute and homage to an icon and a legend. There's a palpable sense reverence in how 343 has curated this collection. Hail to the Chief baby.

Nice work 343.

"Do you want to go to the most relevant menu for this achievement"

Jesus. Talk about going the extra mile. I can be a cynical piece of shit sometimes and even I can't find anything to complain about.
Except that H2A campaign isn't 1080p native.

And I'm getting this at a 10 dollar discount.

I really feel like a bandit. I'm sorry 343. I'm sorry.

Seems like there should be a Gamertag exchange thread to take advantage of this functionality, similar to the Forza Horizon 2 car club thread.

Wow.

Just wow 343.

Even split times as well for speedruns.

Going above and beyond your typical remaster.

Nothing! I said nothing!
Great stuff. Is this just called a remaster the way Sleeping Dogs is called a remaster?

Games that only add higher res/fps graphics should be called something else.

Halo 2 is remastered as Halo 2 Anniversary. Halo's 3 and 4 have had upgraded lighting and shaders, but have not gone through the same remastering that Halo 2 has (or Halo 1).

It's 60 FPS. So, yes it does.

There are hundreds of games that are 60fps that look nothing graphically in the same ball park as either of these titles. Don't get carried away. I love 60fps as much as the next guy, but it doesn't automatically make Quake II look better than Crysis 3 if C3 is running at 30 and Quake 60.

Don't see how Destiny and Halo 4 can be compared to this:

But please, continue with the stupid analogies

Wasn't compairing Halo or Destiny to either of those. Read more carefully next time.

60fps vs 30fps is not an automatic win in graphical fidelity. Which was my point.

Halo 4 looks damn impressive. 343i just doing everything it can for this collection and I'm impressed. I can't wait for November.

343 is doing an incredible job with this game. The amount of content still stuns me. I'm not the biggest fan of Halo 4 but if anything, nobody can deny how great the game looked. And now it looks even better on the Xbox One.
