1) Are Halo 3 and Halo 4 now internally rendering at 1080p or are they simply displaying at 1080p.

2) Will the game-specific playlists be switched out at any time to make room for new playlists?

Has it been answered if MCC will feature new content that hints at Halo 5s plot besides Nightfall? Like how in CE Anniversary they added the terminals that hinted at Halo 4s lore / story.

I hope it does as the MCC trailer itself has lots of Halo 5 hints in it.

I think I heard that the trailer we saw for H2:A featuring Agent Locke is the actual cutscene for that event in the game now but don't quote me on that.

1) They're 1080p native, not upscaled.
2) I very much doubt that. They've made a point of having them in the game. I don't see them going anywhere. 3) I'd think as much. It doesn't make any sense to keep the old button prompts. From the footage shown, they seem to have updated the HUDS in 3-4 to make them 1080p, so it'd stand to reason that they'd also have Xbox One button prompts.

Sometimes devs start adding more and more effects and brings that sort of thing down, halo 4 is proving right now that 1080 60 with those kind of visuals is perfect.

There will be a prologue and epilogue to the MCC campaigns. I'm assuming the e3 trailer was a part of that.

It probably depends on how much additional power is left to work with. If their goals are 1080p60, then they will probably push up to and past Halo 4 (Xbox One version). We'll get a taste of what they're working with in December and that still leaves them with about another 10 months of optimization and polish.

I'm not even a big Halo fan, but I'm still considering buying this just because of the sheer amount of content and effort put into it. The devs should be rewarded for this; it sets a very high bar for future collections. An amazing value.

They really should be applauded for this. All 4 Master Chief Halos. All in 1080p 60 fps (besides Halo 2). Complete visual overhaul of Halo 2. Every multiplayer map ever. Matchmaking for all of them. Leaderboards. 4000 GS with new achievements. Halo Nightfall. And the Halo 5 beta?!

Seriously its the single most impressive packaged collection I've ever seen. 343 should be rewarded for their efforts.

The image is 1920 x 1080, but whether it is native I do not know. Image resolution (I believe) is one of the last things to really get ironed out.
