I kind of realized that as I posted, but was in a rush. I added the coasters part and figured it made sense if you imagined lots of cases, or steelbooks or boxed sets, of which I have a lot.
I used to buy new releases every week and upgrade to SEs, LEs, CEs. If a slipcover had a dent, nick or bump in it, I wouldn't buy it, and I returned many a boxed set over dented boxes not caused by me.
Many of my DVDs are unwatched or unopened and I feel horrible about how much of my money and my parents' money I spent. Sickened and ashamed, really. It eats at me.
Not sure if cellphone plan deal.
If you are in Edmonton, Calgary, or the GTA then Chatr is offering unlimited talk/text/data (everything after 1GB at reduced speeds) for $40. I'll probably stick with Wind out of principle, but it's a tempting deal. They're on Roger's network.

I share a phone with family, as they hardly use it and I have it most of the time. There's been no need for me to buy one myself.
We're due to an upgrade, and our plan with Virgin is shit. $40 plus taxes for 500mb, but unlimited texting.
I'm gonna opt to go elsewhere and get a free iPhone through some provider. I want more data so I don't need to watch what I use like a hawk. I've never gone over, though I've come close and had to shut it off.

You can try and get a CSR that'll do it, but it's not policy for them. You'd have to just get lucky.

I currently have a 30% order with Zelda Wii U on it that I can't cancel because the first game already shipped and was thinking about trying to swap it for Zelda NX. I'm not sure if it'll work though, but on the other hand the game could end up like TP on GC and skyrocket in price.
The fact that law even exists and actually fucks with distribution of games is basically the worst.

I tried 2 CSR's and a Supervisor to switch my Overwatch PS4 to a PC copy and they refused up and down. It was the least flexible I've ever seen them.
Just get overwatch PC on cdkeys. It's ~$40 CAD there isn't it?

How you speak/act/connect with the CSRs plays a huge part in how eager they are to help you out.
I switched my xbone copy of FFXV to the PS4 version a few weeks ago with next to no issues , so try again?

If y'all have any extra $ you can swing there's Fort McMurray charity options to help out, Red Cross, Petsmart charities, check CBC website (or any reputable site) for options.
Ah ha ha, nice try EB. I'm keeping my Amazon.com pre-order, but after all of the edit/censoring confirmations, I might let that go too and just go ahead with my E3 standard edition pre-order. I'm not entirely happy with the way Nintendo is handling the localization. :/

Man I ordered my stuff for my PC rig at NCIX. They are shipping everything via 3 different shipping packages at least. This is nuts.

does the free shipping option at Amazon.ca really take a week after release to get to us? I might just use BestBuy because they seem pretty good about getting games on day1

But hey, free is free, if people want their games faster they can either buy them when they come out or pay for the shipping.

I was at the movies and didn't check GAF until just now. I went to Sobey's but they didn't have it, and I walked out without buying anything because that place is too expensive.
I was hoping for cans. 12 packs. Bottles are a bit of a rip off.
Walmart has them, but only bottles I think.

For Origins yes. And honestly still about the same as Regular so worth biting on. It has been going up bit by bit every day so better to get it earlier than later I think. $50 -> $53 -> $55 -> $57 now...
