I don't know what the "optimal" discount at EB was but I'm more than happy to have gotten the $210 + $50 off. In my eyes it was a good deal.

It's definitely a good deal. You didn't have to deal with Kijiji and the price is pretty much the same.
210 + 50 is definitely the optimal deal. Some people have reported only getting like 175 + 50 or 201 + 50 claiming that the store wouldn't let them stack with the 210 deal. Enjoy the Pro!
On the way back home from EB. Traded in my vanilla PS4 and two eligible games. Total cost including the deposit came down to $250.05.
I'm not sure I got all the promos but whatever, those guys must have had a pretty stressful day.

I gave them the Console + power cable + Dualshock 4 + HDMI cable. There's a chance they'll ask you for the Dualshock 4 micro-USB cable, the employee I was dealing with didn't hassle me for it though. And no box. I legit lugged it around just under my arm. lol

Kijiji is the absolute worst but I stuck with it, sold my PS4 plus games (admittedly a few extra I shouldn't have sold) and got $420 for it.
Traded in my OG PS3 Slim to EB which I haven't used in decades and got 95 credit off PS4 Pro, plus the tax savings. I only had to pay 404 after tax so technically I didn't pay anything.

With the discount being only 20% these days, I only order stuff I really want, which usually means I want it day 1. Kinda makes it not worth the savings.

Good news for you buddy. The Ebgames guy told me that they will get second shipment of NES Classic in December and then another shipment in January. Unless you really need to have it for Christmas, there is no rush because it is not a one time thing.
