I'm thinking of going to EB to upgrade to the ps4 pro.

They say on the website you have 48 hours to transfer your data. Does it mean they are gonna charge my credit card first with the full 499+ tax then credit the difference when I come back with my old Ps4?

What they told me over the phone was that I would pay in full when I buy it and take it home and do the transfer. When I come back in I just need the ps4 trade in and my receipt and they would refund the entire purchase and re-do it with the proper discounts.

Charge HR has generally dropped to $169 now, but last week BB had it for around $148.
It's really on its way out as the Charge 2 is the newer version of the Charge HR.
To confuse more, the Alta is essentially the newer version of the original Charge.

Im planning to go to the Elgin Mills location tonight to do the trade instead. Any pointers on how to get them to apply the $210 + $50 and the $20 bump up in trade in games?

Sounds like BS to me. They know full well most people are going to have OG PS4s.

You should call Elgin Mills to clarify - remember to get the person's name and to ask if they'll be working at the time you plan on going.

Picked up my Pro today. Was hard to say no with the bump in trade credit and the extra $50 off... in the end I read more positive assessments than negative around the noise of the console.

I have no reason to believe it won't run generally quieter than my launch system, so that and the hard drive upgrade alone are almost reason enough to get the machine. (I probably would have been happy with a Slim, but you get so much more for just a little bit more with the Pro trade deal.)

Now for the looong wait of the backup I made to transfer to the new system.

Ah, no. I don't have a prime. It's basically the express shipping with a 2 day bla bla. It never failed me to get my order on launch day. At least so far.

I never had any delay. Like I said in my last post, they usually delivery the package by noon and will get a notification about it that it's available for pick up with bar code on it.
