Mine still says $31.63
$29.39 in Alberta. I honestly hate steenboks, but the deal was too good to pass up. Hopefully someone will trade for a regular copy with me (yes i'm weird)

I feel like at this point we really need another thread. It would make everyone happier. People (I'm one of them) could go there and whine as much as they want about shipping problems and other non-gaming related issues and we could focus in this thread on the actual deals.
What do you all think ?
I'm all for everyone doing whatever, but I do think the deal thread would die without the shipping and Switch talk, haha. Plus it splits us all up!

No, I don't mind this having shipping and off topic stuff because we aren't exactly brimming with deals right now and when there are deals, they do get posted. This is a nice little Canadian thread, I don't think we should be splintered.

If anyone in the Kitchener-Waterloo area is looking for a Switch, the Walmart in Cambridge currently has three on the shelves as of right now.
It's pretty easy to discern the deals from the general banter, though. And the more people engaged with the Community, the more likely we are to see these deals in the first place.
I don't like splintering the thread too much and I actually think shipping talk can be useful when there's actually an issue, but it's something you don't really know until people start having their stuff ship or it's the day stuff starts to ship. I can only speak for Vancouver, but if a game comes out Tuesday, I really have no room to start panicking until Monday afternoon. If it's your first few orders from a company I guess I can understand asking questions about when stuff should be shipping to your area, but for most people I think you should understand that there isn't gonna be any change!

And yeah I'm also fine with this being the "in stock" thread considering that's practically what a deal is nowadays and the american threads are useless to us. I like this community. One of the few spots I still check on GAF.

I'm fine with the thread the way it is, with the shipping talk. It's like my little window into the Canada deals zeitgeist, and I'm a big enough boy that I can just ignore when the thread turns into "oh god did my copy of Game I Don't Care About ship yet."

Is it possible to take the 1tb HDD out of my current PS4 and put it in that machine? Do i need to do a transfer first?
I work for Loblaw, so i should be able to get a 10% discount too. That's kinda hard to pass up.

You can put your existing drive in there yes but you would lose all your data(saves should hopefully be in the cloud but your installs would be gone), unless you use an external hdd to hold that stuff while you swap out.

bleh, i've got an external HDD somewhere but it seems like a pain to do the transfer and I don't know if I really want to re-download everything either. I could always delete a bunch of stuff off my current HDD and bring it in under 500gb, do the transfer and download the rest.

If you're going system to system and your current is bigger than the stock hdd it doesn't make sense to do the transfer that way, as you'll be forced to wipe the bigger hdd when you try and put it in the new system.

I went with Casebase (it was $1 cheaper than Orzly, okay?) on the 14th and have yet to receive it. It's a little annoying because I worry that i'll get my screen scratched or have to worry about cleaning off oily fingerprints before it arrives.
