That 150Mbit deal Shaw has going is pretty sweet. If anyone is considering it i'm satisfied, especially since Telus could only offer me 50Mbit for double the price, and with a data cap.

it sucks to be paying american fibre prices for a fibre connection that is literally just neutered to ~1/9th of its performance

but its been 8 times more reliable for me the last several months then their internet 1XX that was just cable lines was last year. last year during the summer during the daytime streaming video was just "nah bro"

It's a real deal, as we understand it in this thread, in that what we're getting in Canada is only 25 per cent as good as what they get in the States.

ive had it for a a while and the speeds are nice but the modem they give you likes to change the NAT randomly. a lot of the time when gaming its set to strict which causes problems online. anyone know what settings to use to get this modem to stop screwing around with the NAT?

If you're talking xbox/ps4, just throw the IP into DMZ. Best to give your console a static IP though, so it'll stay put in DMZ.

They are quite hard to find used in good condition nowadays, and the market is flooded with unreliable fakes. I sold like $800 worth of 360 games (~120 of them) and the first thing the guy at the store asked me was "You don't happen to have any PS3 controllers do you?"

Yes. They also sell digital Switch games which you're better off getting because its taxfree whereas the eshop charges tax. Dont know if they'd have digital Isaac but I bought digital codes for Snipperclips and the BotW season pass from EB.

I was at an EB a few weeks back and a couple came in looking to have their PS3 repaired. A lot of the people who shop there have little to no idea about games or even taking advantage of trade promos.

So I'm having trouble with Play-Asia. I bought an item that never shipped using my credit card through paypal and eventually they cancelled the order. But instead of a refund they sent me a money "payment/transfer" on paypal so it never went back onto my card and I now had to pay fees because of that.
