Probably Obama getting elected either time.

Well at least I know Canada will be a viable option once President Trump takes the throne.
This is more like 1st term shitty Obama rather than 2nd term badass Obama though.

Then again, I still distrust the Liberals, so that's my bias. lol

3 or the 4 provinces are at the bottom in terms of GDP/capita, and all four have the lowest Income/capita...

And all four provinces have the highest unemployment rates, some of which have double digit %...

His comment may be harsh, but you can't say it's not factually sound.

Your stats breakdown is factually sound, but his comment is the typical bull that some right wing morons love to tout. People are poor because they choose to be etc. Does that really describe Atlantic Canada? Are they the poorest provinces because they want to be?

I voted NPD but if Liberal win I'll be okay with that. I mostly want Harper out.

But goddamn this is an amazing start for the Liberals.

Before we start sucking each others dicks, remember that the Liberals should be taking all of the Maritimes except a handful of ridings below, there should be a HUGE Liberal lead by the time we get to Quebec:

NEWFOUNDLAND
St John's East - NDP

PEI
RED Sweeeeeep!

NOVA SCOTIA
Sackville - Preston - Chezzatock - NDP

NEW BRUNSWICK
Acadie - NDP
Funny Royal - PC
New Brunswick SW - PC
Tobique - PC

In other words, out of 26 out of 32.

26 LIB
3 PC
3 NDP

Holy shit, 32 already. I was expecting 26. Crazy. Congrats to my Liberals, we're in for heck of a night. Suck it, Harper.

Enjoy your tax increase.

I did not think I was voting in a swing riding this evening (St. Johns East). I voted Jack Harris cause I like the guy and I didn't think I was costing Trudeau a victory lol

So guys, if mine comes down to 2 (for my wife too), you can blame us.

Yep. Stephen Harper (leader of the Conservatives) is our current Prime Minister and has been our Prime Minister since 2006.

holy shit, since 2006?

and here I am thinking its bad that we have a president in the USA for 8 years at a time (it should be four.. or six maximum, none of this double term shit but thats just me). That's pretty rad, it's gonna shake things up hard to have someone new plus a different party. I'm rooting for you canada.

The cbc reporter just mentioned Mike Duffy being good in the Senate to represent the opposition when it comes to legislature if the Atlantic provinces go all red
