Not as amazing as LIB being 1000 votes away from defeating CON in SOUTH SURREY - WHITE ROCK ! WTF is going on ?

Because even the nearly dead majority in the riding have had enough. Diane Watts mayoral stint is keeping her in the lead for now. But I doubt she would be good at taking orders instead of doing whatever she wants.

Mulcair and Laverdière are widening their lead, at least. Small consolation ^^

Why do people keep asking if Charest will run for the conservative party? He has nothing in common with Harper or that party. Charest was part of Mulroney's Progressive-Conservative party, which pretty much only have the name in common with our current Conservative party, which is a rebranded Alliance/Reform party.

Charest does not care for Harper or his party. If he ever runs for the federal elections, it will be for the LPC.
It's a joke dude ;)

Bill Blair being interviewed on CTV right now, talking about the government immediately moving to legalize marijuana as a science-based way to protect children and fight organized crime.

And Joe Oliver is confirmed defeated.
It could potentially create a fairly large industry and generate great income and create jobs at both a local level and much larger.

It's true though. Fuck the NDP.

Honestly I was open to an NDP win early on but their campaign has been such a train wreck. It's not even niqab, it's running a center-right baby steps to progression campaign focused on turning.... who exactly? Conservative supporters?

I've been saying fuck the NDP to myself for a few weeks now. I think they're done for another decade at least.

Tudeau's a great win for progressives.

So Kenney, Harper and Rempel remain.
Any other major Cons left?
I'm sad to see Peggy Nash and Meghan Leslie go. Maybe the left wing of the NDP will take a bigger role going forward, because this center move has stalled

I'm disappointed but not at all devastated or upset, and I don't think any NDP supporters should be unless they were actively part of the campaign.

The NDP wouldn't be the first party to come back from 35 seats. ;)
The difference is that the NDP gains came on the backs of the Liberals, because they seemed to offer a viable alternative to the CPC.

Who is the natural opposition party for the LPC though? It's not the NDP that's for sure.

We'll see. I just think the Liberal brand is as tainted as the CPC brand, just in different ways. But it's just been long enough that it seems like we're getting a fresh start.

I was upset that Diane Watts decided to run for the Conservatives. Such a waste.

Good job Canada, you denied a corporation-pandering racist today. Good riddance.

Surprised to see NDP lose so much ground. I thought my riding (Halifax) was a sure thing - guess not!

I was gonna say

14 polls has Libs up by 9%

Any results on North Delta? (My riding, on mobile atm)

North Delta doesn't exist anymore, does it?

It's now Steveston-Richmond East or Delta?

Richmond East-Steveston is 9% lib lead, Delta is is confirmed Lib with 11% lead
