It's pretty good but situational, actually. It's just not a great idea to cancel it when it'll for sure be V-Reversaled when an opponent has meter for it.

I also don't feel like this match is that much in Ken's favor. Ken doesn't have plus on block normals or great pokes, you have to be pretty patient with Ken and that is kinda opposite his game plan.

He's not following up his flame knockdown s with set ups. With Sim you have to use a set up or two after a knockdown, if they block, teleport away and reset neutral (imo).

If he had a few mix ups after the knock downs (off medium flame dash, s. Lp, meaty c. HP for example).

Ex fire is great vs Ken too because Ken approaches on the ground with his v skill.

It's pretty good but situational, actually. It's just not a great idea to cancel it when it'll for sure be V-Reversaled when an opponent has meter for it.

it's also not great to slide in a range where you need to cancel on block to not eat a punish

that said, i'm not sure how sim really opens you up if you're patient AND good at reacting to his approaches

It's not bad, but every single button you do with Sim NEEDS to have a purpose. You can't toss anything out without a plan..

Medium fires for set ups, ex to control space etc.
