but not really a superhero. A gem powered body, more like a god, so it seems silly that his "name" is on the paper, like his signature is worth a dam.
He is a indiviual.

We are tackeling decade old philosophical ground here. What happens, when a machine reaches self-awareness. Seems like the MCU world came to conclusion to treat him like a individual. So its not stupid.

He even went out of his way to cast another Night Nurse in Doctor Strange.

I see the Netflix shows as their own distinct universe; they reference the movies, sometimes, but never the other way around.

They didn't cast Night Nurse in Daredevil. They were going to, and were told the movies already had a Night Nurse planned, so they used Claire Temple instead in the same role.
Night Nurse is apparently going to be in Doctor Strange.

is he now? The mind gem can create many lives. It really just controls reality.
Yes he is.
Dude, whats the big problem? He was always treated like a person. I really cant understand why people think stuff like this is stupid when there are nordic gods hanging around green anger-monsters and soldiers who spend 70 years frozen in ice,

And black scientists coming from rich countries in Africa. Anything is possible!

Well you don't see nordic gods and ice giants on that form, you know why? because the governments of the earth cannot control them and UN cannot hold any voluntary power over them. Now in the Avengers roster, Thor and vision are special in that they're not from earth. Vision is really an embodiment of a mind gem, he has no name, no birthplace, no passports or laws that bureaucracy can apply on him. That's why it's silly.

When it comes to Wanda and Ironman, they're both humans, the registration applies to them.
He is a individual. Maybe Thor left like Hulk?

Well he's a robot.

That's no excuse for not having a last name.

Hell, even Terminator had a last name.

I don't know why people hold to "Peak Human" so badly, Cap has done some crazy shit. My favorite one is a direct head to head to Batman.

Phase 2 Blu ray boxset has a copy of the Sokovia Accords:

Is the whole document? Or just that page? it should come in some PDF form so i can print it.

It's legally binding? What if i put my name there and sign?

Son of Coul would rip that in half

And wipe his ass using his cybernetic enhanced hand

Y'all posted this yet?

Called it!!

Who is that?

Bootleg Chris Evans

Who knows. they see something out of a handbook from the 80s and just run with it. Cap's actual strength level is left deliberately vague but he's been far past "human" levels forever.

I love the Thunderstrike fight because it's so blatant about it. This was in 1993. The ultimates didn't launch until 9 years later in 2002:

Thunderstrike is "thor lite" here but still easily somewhere around the 100 ton range or greater. Cap effortlessly schools him here repeatedly, but what makes this great is that the Axe here is cursed and causing TS to go all out, trying to seriously injure cap against his will. Not only does cap *not notice* this fight could be deadly, but he's not at 100% here. He's only "winded" by this fight (where he usually wouldn't be) because the SSS was breaking down at the time.

616 Cap is a monster.

Watch it now

Spidey 2 is still the gold standard for Marvel films imo. But it's not "miles better" than the best MCU films. Give me a break. MCU has produced some great stuff.
I own the Blu-Rays so I don't need to watch a YouTube video going over things I don't agree with. Also, there is no way I'd ever watch an hourlong analysis of those movies.

I don't see what the big deal is.

Daredevil has Night Nurse in everything but name, but neither the films nor the TV shows are exactly rushing to give characters code names anyway. So chances are even if Night Nurse is used in Doctor Strange as a code name, it'll be used once and never mentioned again. I mean shit, Doctor Strange won't be used much either.

And I would make it for free. But these people earn their money with acting.
I didn't say it was a big deal. I even only learned in this thread that mcadams is supposed to be the new night nurse.
He definitely was.
He's not listed in the credits though.

Evans got dat top billing.
I dunno man, I don't remember seeing fury in any av2 promos.

Yep. "Sokovia" is an explicit reference to AoU, no other way to interpret that.

Keep in mind though that Thunderbolt Ross is the one pushing this and the dude is a shitstain. If any of them simply decline to sign the agreement, it's unlikely he'll just allow them to walk off and promise not to do any superheroing- They'll probably be headed to some kind of facility...or killed as seems to be the case with Barnes.

As I mentioned before: Tony has a lot more to lose if he walks away. Namely, his company and wealth. Granted, he'll keep his (intellectual) ability to rebuild it all but he won't be doing business if he does turn his back on the authorities.

Besides, something tells me the government would have frozen the Avenger's assets anyway (which would be Tony's too).

To me Spiderman 2 was a joke when it was new. It had a couple good action sequences but is otherwise very subpar. Every time ive tried to rewatch i stop at the "THE POWER OF THE SUN!" The plot and why characters do the things they do is laughable.

It was fun when I saw it as a teenager, except for that ridiculous face Toby Maguire put on in that scene. You know the one.

Oh I don't disagree. Tony may also have personal reasons for letting his ego go and submitting to a higher authority. Ultron is pretty much entirely his fault for deciding to impose a solution without any higher power to keep him in check. That has to eat at the guy.

I'm thinking that scene where he's holding Rhodey/WM is what makes him go to sign the act.

I'm sure the bombing we see in the trailer is the one that unleashes the whole issue and is the one that has Bucky framed ("i don't do that anymore")

Sam Raimi was mixing his own style of cheese in with comic book cheese to make an amazing cheese pizza. Just look at the scene from the morg when Doc Ock awakened. That was something that could have come straight from evil dead.

Oh he's not the one you need to worry about.
Who should I be worried about?

This makes a lot of sense. I almost hope it starts out this way now.

That scene has rhodey's arc reactor ripped out by somebody. Clearly the avengers are already fighting each other when that scene happens.

yeah, I think the russos confirmed that one was true. Bucky is being set up, probably by Ross, given that they say he is outmaneuvering them politically AND he appears to have crossbones on his payroll.

Or maybe this is where zemo comes in? who can say. we'll have to wait a few more months

I was never big on the Raimi Spider-man films. Maguire was always an awful Spidey, Dunst was an awful MJ, and they were remarkably corny.

It says right there on the contract that it's in accordance with the accompanying document. You see Scarlet Witch holding the full document in the trailer, it looks to be hundreds of pages long. That's just where the Avengers are supposed to sign to confirm they are submitting to the accords detailed in the full document.

I hated that mothafucker so much in JJ. I don't know if it was the actor or the character or the combo of both.

It was seriously the biggest coincidence of all time, like my eyes were rolling when I heard him say it. Kilgrave just so happened to pick the one cop out of tens of thousands who was in a super soldier program? Yeah ok.

I feel the same way about Spidey 2 as I do the X-Men movies. These aren't the same characters I love in the style I want, but we still got a few entertaining movies out of them.

Even when I was a kid who loved those movies, I hated Kirsten Dunst. She was horrible.

It wasn't some crazy coincidence at all. If Kilgrave was careful with who he used his powers on and just happened to pick him randomly, then I'd understand the complaint but Kilgrave used his powers on whoever was around and it's not like Simpson was the only cop he controlled.
