I'm glad this will exist physically - but seriously fuck LRG. I don't know why they keep getting these kinds of publishing deals.

How many physical copies do you think it'll sell? It can't be that many. Esp since you have to think it won't be any cheaper than buying the game digitally.

Aren't these originally GBA games too? The size can't be that big, so if you were buying physical because of download times, that shouldn't be a problem.

You're talking like a niche of a niche. Hence LRG.

So no physical collector's edition.
And I ain't saying that because of it's LRG,
But they're a pain in ass to purchase from in the US, but here in the UK it's simply not worth it.
You'll be paying Collectors Edition prices for the standard edition
Probably get it cheaper off a scalper on eBay.

It's crazy how objectively the best Ecclesia is. Even the boxart is leagues ahead of the competition.
My simping for this game knows no bounds.

I no longer need my copy thanks to this collection but I can't seem to get over parting with it lol.

This was a low point in the series for some, since Igarashi tried to experiment with a more generic Anime artsyle in order to attract younger gamers that obviously didn't worked out (and Ayami Kojima was busy with the PS2 games), then IGA found a new artist for Order of Ecclesia, that fits Castlevania pretty well.

I like the orange shading in Portrait of Ruin cover though

If portrait had resembled the promo art it would have been an absolute all-timer. I still love it more than the rest of the castletroids but the generic art really does bring it down.

Damn you lrg.

I don't hate them but I don't like them either. But looks I'll be getting this from them.

Now I wish they would release the 2 N64 Castlevania games and the ones on PS2 and PS3.

OOE is so damn good. Playing through it now and it's making me so damn happy. I have it for DS but my hands can't handle it anymore. Been playing on the Portal and it's absolutely sublime.

Nah, the GBA games are different. Though Dawn of Sorrow (DS) is a sequel to Aria of Sorrow (GBA)

FWIW, PS+ classics have the PS3 games and the PS3 itself had at least 1 of the PS2 castlevanias on the store. But yes, it would be nice to have them all available for download on modern consoles.

I dunno the insistance with LRG, maybe its cheaper?
In any case, thats a big nope from me. Gonna be digital, fuck you LRG.

They announced this much sooner than I expected. Yes it fucking sucks that it's through Limited Run Games but it's the only way to get these games physically.

Blame Konami for being cheap and not having as much faith in their IP as Capcom does.
