This is of course a deeply ironic turn of events, but remember that Giant Bomb was once struggling enough that they felt the need to try and charge a membership fee for their podcast.

Dunno how well their membership stuff has done since but it's not surprising that they would be happy making this move, even if it means getting back into bed with Gamespot.

It was a very public scandal and I am sure it was someone's idea to have Jeff make a video explaining why it's okay now.

Good news if you care about the salary and job security of GB's core group. How this works out for people who have followed them and given them money for the past few years will probably take some time to play out.
