Say what you want about Atkinson, but she sure made Red Alert 3 a much more enjoyable experience for me :D

Didn't she basically become a glamour model after Hollyoaks.

I can't believe they would choose her. She also has boobs which are frankly a bit ridiculous as they were done for her glamour career.

Will this be CBS' ONE non-procedural?

Superhero stories are pretty proceduralish by nature. And CBS has at least two shows that have very strong serialized elements, at least on the level of Flash and Arrow.
CBS has shitty reputation as a whole, but in reality they have two of the best three shows on network tv.

Personal of Interest feels like a combination between a procedural and non procedural show.

Nothing wrong with a procedural approach. Just as long as they use it to set the scene, and then weave in overarching story/character stuff that pays off later.

Yeah I think Person of Interest walks the line pretty well between procedural and non procedural pretty well.

Maybe because in the comics Supergirl is a teenager...

And in this series is 25.

But putting that aside, very few non soap operas cast actual teenagers as the leads in TV shows. They can't work as many hours legally, so it makes sense to use 20 somethings who can work 14 hour days without restrictions.

Has anyone googled imaged searched Gemma Atkinson, I don't think CBS will go for that.

Any other rumoured casting ?

I don't know, its felt heavily serial(like 80%+) for a good while now.
Early on though it had a decent balance and we got alot of good serial points worked well into episodes completely unrelated to the main stuff.

Currently only the shows that Greg Berlanti runs are inter-connected. Arrow & Flash currently. With Supergirl most likely being the third show in this DC TV Universe of sorts. Greg Berlanti himself even stated Supergirl could crossover with Arrow and The Flash in the future.

Word is the Teen Titans show that has a pilot in the works for TNT could potentially join Arrow, The Flash, & Supergirl in the Arrowverse but that is just pure speculation for now.
