KPD and UTPD is kind of the opposite from Tallahassee. They are a bunch of racist that take great pleasure in busting black football players.

Agreed. But at 3, they were and Miami had 3 coming into this game. Miami are a pretty good team regardless of whether they were unranked (which is as much a product of media bias as anything). To put things in perspective, at least two media members voted Arkansas at 25th (or maybe one at 24th) and Texas A&M is still receiving votes. That is how deep the SEC media bias runs.

Utah had 3 losses and was ranked 25th, and now have moved up, along with USC and Oklahoma entering the top 25 with 3 losses.

So they held LSU in high standings considering it holds a victory over a B1G conference division leader and a top 10 Ole Miss, with 3 losses coming against 3 top 10 teams (though now with a falling apart Auburn now slipping down the polls :p )

Guess you should pull hard for GT over Georgia, both to have a better ranked opponent in the AAC CCG, but also to further prove your theory of BIASEDNESSES!

I'm sure the Bar Knoxville/Rumorz brawl from a few years ago where an undercover cop got knocked out didn't help. But yeah, KPD goes out of their way to bust players here, remember the Tyler Smith and Co. bust where they got pulled over for going 70 on I40? Come on....

Nebraska is going to get curbstomped once in a while, this isn't 1995 anymore, there are more teams with more money out there now.

There's a difference between a bad loss and what happened Saturday. Big time programs don't have repeated instances of the latter. How many times do opposing teams have to set new records for opposing offensive statistics before we realize this isn't just something that "happens once in a while." We're not an FCS program and we shouldn't be accepting of, or excusing of, results that make us look like one. There have always been programs with more money than Nebraska but we're still one of the most financially healthy athletic programs out there and there's absolutely no excuse to not be in the top 15 and look like we belong there almost every year. Either we make big changes to the staff or we're stuck as a mid tier program for the next 15 years.

Beck is terrible at making adjustments and general playcalling after scripted series have been run. Ross Els is terrible at everything. He can't get the linebackers to run fit properly, can't coach special teams, and isn't a great recruiting coordinator. Barney Cotton serves no purpose on the staff with Garrison there, I don't give a shit how buddy buddy he is with the HC he's dead weight and takes up a slot for the number of coaches we can have present at a game. Papuchis serves no purpose with Bo there and shouldn't ever have been promoted to DC. To add to all of that we're probably one of the few big programs out there that continues to run without a QB coach. Fire all those guys, replace them with guys that actually coach technique and aren't just staring blankly at the field 80% of the time. When our QB comes off the field he should be getting talked to about what he saw on the field or what he should be looking for every damn time instead of just sitting on the bench doing nothing. We might not be able to get rid of Pelini but he damn well better make some staff changes before this starts snowballing and gets out of control.

It's nice to be loyal to your staff but if they're not performing, as has been shown for years now, they get a swift boot to the ass and are replaced.

Rivalry game + Wisconsin saw what happened when you let up on the gas against Nebraska, we come back. They don't show us any mercy.

No one on either sideline thinks of this as a rivalry. Anyone with even a small football background will tell you that Wisconsin wasn't doing anything special. It was simple football executed well with a Nebraska defensive back seven that kept getting out of position with respect to their run responsibilities.

Out of all the Big 10 opponents we have, Wisconsin is our only rivalry. The Iowa "rivalry" is a joke. Wisconsin at least has some heat with us.

Iowa is the state I drive to when I want to get cheap gas. They've been bros for far too long for a rivalry to ever even get started.

In the era of TV markets mattering more, Nebraska has to convince kids to come play for a state with snow in it. We don't have Tom Osborne running 4 practice squads of hopefuls and just picking the best out of each one because of his star power. If you want to be a star QB in the NFL you don't come through Nebraska either, so our offense will never be super hilariously OP.

This is a fanbase that still marks out when they see an option play run even though we botch if half the damn time because people still think of the good ol' days constantly. We're like, the only fanbase so spoiled that 9 win minimum seasons aren't good enough. We're always going to get shit on by the media and ESPN because we don't fondle them all the time, it's just the way it is. We get deranked for close wins. We have better consistent records than most of the SEC SEC SEC SEC, but they'll constantly be ranking off each other due to bias. We have to fucking hope that Wisconsin ranks up before we play them each year and the other division sends someone ranked to even smell the chance of the national title. It wouldn't even fucking matter if Nebraska had won out the past two years, we still wouldn't be going.

This got a bit ranty but at the end of the year what matters is the W and the L columns. Next year we play Wiscy at home and the players will be pumped up to kick their butt. Now we just need Wiscy to win out so they have a higher rank for us to boost off of. These losses are "embarassing" but this shit is week to week. So many fanbases dream of the sort of consistent records we have. If he needs to make staffing adjustments they'll come at the end of the season.

ps we also need to get the damn bluehairs to make noise at games all the time.
