It's a shame he got banned too, considering how ND's season went after that game. :)

What happened to the Pokes this year? Never would have thought they'd ever struggle to be Bowl eligible
Injuries to Walsh and the OL, youth on defense, and playing FSU. Also, the Big 12 was better than expected.

Mainly offensive line play though, which has improved over the last two games.

Yeah as bummed as I am about OU's season, losing to 3 top 10 teams isn't that awful. Getting smashed by Baylor was, though. Knight just isn't good enough and probably never will be

Surprised there wasn't a flag on hitting the punter. Dangerous dive there. Hit didn't end up being bad or anything I guess.

What's worse is getting run over by an OU team missing its best QB, RB, and WR.

And guys like Aaron Ripkowski going for 3 TDs.

Oregon's WRs are going to destroy Bama.

My thoughts exactly but Bama's run offense (Yeldon + Henry) is going to steamroll Oregon's defense and control time of possession.

Mauk so wildly inconsistent - amazing accuracy and strength on the run/deep balls, and terrible in the flat

Hopefully they get healthy. They were down one of their best (Stanford) last night and already lost their all-conference TE (Brown). They've actually played their whole season without their best WR (Addison) due to a knee injury.

It's conceivable that Addison could be ready in January.

Also, Braxton Miller should come to Oregon. He would have one of the best receiving cores in the country. They're all freshmen.

Thought Emoji Movie was good. Take that as you will.

If they play the defense they did last night they got a shot.. that was the best run D they've had all season. Really played the ball well.

People tend to forget this too... they haven't been as strong as the last few seasons in that aspect because of injury. There's a good chance they are able to get healed up.. and have Tyner back as well.. unless Tyner's thing isn't injury but something else.. which I sorta expect it is.. but have Marshall out wide with Tyner and Freeman and Addison back.. damn.. Mariota will have options again he's been without for awhile.

Jalin Marshall warming up with the QBs.

Slightly worried we don't utilize him fully on O for fear of having to burn Colliers redshirt if Cardale gets hurt.

Losing Brown hurts in particular, but that's only more of a testament to how good the Oregon receivers have been all the way down the depth chart. Byron Marshall has done real well in transitioning to slot receiver too.

Fair enough - but Arizona's not a physical run offense like Bama's. Oregon's D played out of their mind, but they are undersized - they will not fare well against a big, powerful o-line.

Alabama would pull a Stanford 2013 on Oregon (Stanford controlling TOP and Gaffney ran for 200+ yards on like 50 carries). Only way that does not happen is if Oregon scores lots early and therefore takes away Alabama's power rushing attack. But to do that, they need to get rid of the stupid penalties and terrible playcalling in the red zone that plagued them in the first half against Zona.
