Sega had abused me and beat me down during the Genesis/32x/SegaCD to Saturn mess, thankfully I had enough time to recover and thought enough was enough and joined the rest of the gaming populace with Playstation.

Shit, I'm right here. I still am a big SEGA fanboy (although their only god games this gen were VF4 and before). But it never stopped me from getting a Nintendo, Sony, or Microsoft system. You know, I don't really look at what console I buy as a second nationality for me, I just look at it from the standpoint of a consumer trying to decide which console best fits his needs. This one got a DS yesterday. Took less than 10 months to go from getting a PSP at launch to buying Metroid Prime Pinball and pre-ordering Zelda. I still play my PS2, of course, but I'm already becoming more critical of the lineup.

How does one jumpship exactly? Especially from MS to Nintendo... Wouldn't the proper progression be to "outgrow" Nintendo and hitch your wagon to any of the other two stars in the sky, if one were to change gaming allegiances, but how does one regress psychologically? How much is sufficient, and when is enough not enough? Add to that shaking the mind set of an MS fan, all persecuted and affronted, jejune, gonad of rage.
