If I had my way, I'd never work. I'd just stay home all day, watch Scarface 50 times, eat a turkey sandwich and have sex all fucking day. Then I'd dress up as a clown and surprise kids at schools. Then I'd take a dump at the back of a movie theatre and just wait until somebody sat in it and hear it squish. That's funny to me. Then I'd paint and read and play violin. I'd climb the mountains and sing the songs I like to sing, but I ain't got that kind of time.

That's fucking beautiful.

My friends and I still quote the show whenever we hang out. Pound for pound one of the best sketch comedy shows of all time no question.

Looking around for clips and this extra Charlie Murphy interview is pretty interesting. I haven't checked out any of Charlie's own stand-up but I might have to look it up. Sounds like he was proud of Eddie and wasn't jealous of his success or anything, which is cool.

Amazing show. I used to watch it religiously in high school, and I still remember some of the songs almost verbatim.

I really wish we had the whole truth about what went on.

Wow! 10 Years already? Proves how timeless Chappelle has been. Is he still retired? I'd love to hear more of Charlie Murphy's "True" Hollywood Stories. Prince playing b-ball still cracks me up.

So many quotable scenes. Such a great show. Never seen a comedy show and I doubt I ever will again (and this is coming from someone from the UK only got into it a year ago through Netflix).

So many great scenes. So many great scenes.

I have to commend the show for its musical guests. So many great artists.

Ditto (And I say this as someone who's really into alternative/indie/electronic). And at least on the Netflix side of things, there's a few performances I hadn't seen until it was on YouTube. And that's before you think about the infamous performance from the Beastie Boys that got out when Adam died.

That Grantland article is great. Everyone should read it.

I just opened it, got down to the brackets, and saw the note from jail that Cornrow Wallace sent.

I'm now in tears. I remember the first time I saw that part of that episode, I almost passed out from laughing so hard. My stomach hurt so bad.

This show is BRILLIANT. God, I wish someone would bring this back with the original team. I wonder if lightning could strike twice?

Went on a Chappelle Show marathon late last night thanks to this thread. I needed Red Balls to keep me up today.
