How do you figure? They could just start killing people. That hardly seems like "they lost," to me -- in fact, that means they have us by the short hairs. If we respond with violence without pushing all the way through and pulling them out root and branch, then they can categorize everything we do against them as indicative of the whole while everything they do against us as false flags, lies, and mentally ill loners.

They win the propaganda war, the law is on their side because the law won't do shit on its own, and they can slowly bleed us until they keep full control.

Honestly, I don't believe there is a way without violence. Propaganda be damned, every last one of these dogs deserves the only cure for late stage rabies.

We as a society are only better than this if we stop it before it happens. Otherwise, we as a society, are our lowest common denominator -- and that's them.

They are certainly not worth starting a counter paramilitary to first deploy coordinated and extensive violence, especially aimed obliquely against the government and state, as members in this thread happily advocate from the warm glow of a fairly stable society.

I'm quoting this so people have a second chance to read it. The reemergence of far right wing groups in America is scary, but we are a far, far cry from post WWI Germany.

Hell, at that time the USA had a small fascist party. We had a resurgent KKK at the height of their power. But our democratic institutions still held, and three decades later we passed the biggest round of civil rights legislation since womens' suffrage.

I'm not saying the US is literally germany 1930 but there are a lot of similiarities.

The political system is effectively crippled with republicans not capable of getting anything done, other than a SC judge the only changes the president made were by decree (EO) and you have racial and social tension exploding all over the country.

As i said america is not at a point of germany in november 1932 but it might currently going down on a way there.

The GOP is taking lots of steps to change the democratic system in their favor and you have parts of the country (including the president) trying to illegitimize the 2016 election with their millions of fake votes narrative.
As long as there is no pushback from the GOP the alt-right will only grow.

Too many, that's how many. In a country of 300 million, how many white supremacists do you think there are? How many are going to travel the country looking for people to kill because "muh 14/88," how many people are in positions of power where they can categorically deny opportunity to everyone who doesn't think like them? Their bloodletting isn't only limited to violent acts, either -- law enforcement, employment, THIS administration and many government agencies, local, state, and federal.

They happily exist, doing what they're doing, for the glory of their master race, in every nook and cranny.

Unfortunately, this ignores the socioeconomic factors that created the foundation for extremism to thrive. Germany's economy was wrecked for an entire generation at the conclusion of WW1.

And the US is in dangerous territory when it comes to the financial wellbeing of its citizens. The majority have no savings. It won't take much to push tens of millions over the edge.

Now is not the time to think that this is a transitory pushback that our institutions will handle, not when people who share their views are in control of the government and we are doing nothing to strengthen the safety net that increasingly more people will need. We are instead strengthening the breeding ground for extremism. Now is the time to act before it's too late.

Why is it when white supremacists hold rallies that they always contain people that are the thin layer of crust scraped off the bottom of the barrel of the gene pool? Some of these people look like peeled potatoes in military gear. Nazi Germany would have 'cleansed' them just like the rest of us.
