Where is the cheapest one could find BioShock for the 360, preferably new? It is far easier to find BioShock 2 right now, cheaper too. It's for Secret Santa for a friend. When the BioShock 2 ads come on TV she says "I really need to play the first", so I figure I shall oblige her. Secret Santa budget is £20, but I've already used up £10. If I don't find a good deal online, I'll just walk into Gamestation/Grainger/CEX and pick it up, probably pre-owned.

ebay is probably your best best. I just looked around, and you should easily get it for under £10. Problem is, I can only find it used at the moment... hmm..

It's £6 pre-owned at CEX, I'm just curious if I'm missing anywhere that might still have it brand new and/or cheaper, but it's surprisingly hard to find new at a reasonable price. It's only £3 at Tesco for the PS3 version which is the best by far I can find, but she only owns a 360 unfortunately.

Amazon Jersey is the best legit retailer I can find with it in stock, but it is still £19.99. Still a silly price for such an oldie.

...I had no idea that went out of print/rare/whatever :/

Vanquish (PS3)

Help?

I hope AssBro hits a decent price before christmas, would quite like to give that one a go over the break.

I'm also waiting for this. Only picked up two the other day as it was a tenner on Zavvi.

Heh came home from work today to a package from play.com I completely forgot about, my £5 mario brothers plumbing tee :D so awesome. Must have taken a good 2 weeks to get through the post to me, I think anything I order now just won't make it in time for the 25th.

Are there any non-greatest hits copied of Uncharted 1 about? not fussed about second hand, as I'd like to pick it up sooner rather than later, but all I can seem to find are the ugly box versions. It wasn't pulled from shelves or something was it?

I was told this but not sure if it's true. Apparently Royal Mail get fined if the mail is delivered so many days late, so they got a big fine for all the packages over the last couple of weeks. To stop them getting fined further, they're concentrating on getting the new order out on time and so you're more likely to get something you order now, before something you ordered a couple of weeks ago.

Is it any good?
You know how John Woo's Stranglehold was like Max Payne with added acrobatics but the controls felt a whole lot less tight and was generally a not quite as polished experience?

WET is like that, except the controls are looser than a B-grade actor from a cult TV show desperately trying to get some work by any means eventually landing a gig in a Max Payne-style videogame.

If you're into low budget trash games, it's excellent! No really, it's a lot of fun.

Thank you both.

I was ready to bite, but it seems the prices is 12 pounds now.

Oh, well, some other time. :)

God of War 3 £9.97 @ PC World (Collect in Store only)
Thanks, I've reserved one, I can probably just get to my local PC World (annoyingly the one near work is out of stock) by the 8pm closing time. Any good deals on the 1+2 collection?

Sin and Punishment: Successor of the Skies (Wii) - £14.99 @ Play
Both of these have been pricematched by Amazon (making it a better deal for some in two ways, Amazon is quicker from my experiance
and my experiance of 40% of my play orders never arriving puts me off using them...
and for the countries that get free delivery over £25 assuming you get the pair you'll be getting the pair for £30 rather than £30 converted to Euros with invisble delivery). But you don't get the Wii remote sticker :lol

Also here is a £5 off over £60 (including consoles) for game.co.uk (apparently also works with gamestation.co.uk) FESTIVEFIVER. Don't know if it stack with luckygamer or not (probably not meaning the £10 off £50 is better). Expiry date unknown.

There are some others (expiry date, tomorrow :lol )
XmasSaver10 £5 off £50
vcXmas40 £5 off £40
Again don't know if stack.

It's in fact over £20. I know it's weird, since Amazon themselves say £25, but try putting something over £20 in your basket and you'll see.

IIRC it was £9.99 at Zavvi this Monday gone, so it should be back.

Right now it's 12,99 which would still make it cheaper than Amazon though. At least for me because I have to pay the postage. 9,99 would be sweeter though.

I'd say wait till Monday, it'll prob in the Mega Monday thing again.

yeha me too … stupid GAF's top underappreciated Games thread made me want it too

edit: or are there any zavi codes ?

The Humble Indie Bundle 2
* Braid (90 metascore!)
* Cortex Command
* Machinarium
* Osmos
* Revenge of the titans

And you pay whatever you want! (1ctm minimum)

check http://www.humblebundle.com/ for more info and wolfire.com (they are the ones who created the first bundle witch now can be associated to your steam acount, I dont know if it will be possible with this one..but probably yes)

I am out of cash, I hope these deals stick around through the end of January. There are so many games I'd buy for £5-£15 right now, that I'd end up spending almost £200. It just isn't fair!

£12 for Forza 3 Ultimate!? So glad I never bought any of that DLC.

If by worth it you mean re-sell value. Probably not, I saw vast amounts of used copies in GAME a few weeks ago (i.e. before Play and Amazon were selling the game for £15) which is probably part of the reason the price is dropping through the floor (its not selling and what comparatively little was sold has become used...its not unknown for retail to do that when they have too many of a title so its hard to tell if it is little replay value).

Gameplay-wise. I hope so as I just bought it
hope its easy to ignore the story, I don't normally do that in games but given everyones thoughts on this one...
:lol I also got Sin and Punishment 2 which is probably a safer bet if you want a Nintendo game for £15. If you like high scores and that sort of thing you'll gets lots of play out of it. Heck if you liked other treasure games or Starfox it would be worth a spin.
