Just Cause 2 is back at Play.com for £4.99.

fuck it, I ordered it this time.
I have an empty normal PS3 case from ordering a UK PSN card and just found a printable version of the standard cover :P

btw, apparently Game will ship me the GT5 signature edition to Germany. I guess the disclaimer about not shipping it outside of UK was due to it's original high price and not the package size?

order status is "Your order is currently being picked and packed."

I'd so buy that psp if they shipped to Finland. I already have a psp but the usb is broken so I can't sync it up to use remote play, transfering ps1 saves or my GT PSP garage. :I

I've the same order status and I live in France.

They didn't even let me cancel the order despite it sitting there waiting in their fucked up system. Anyone else would have let me cancel in this downtime of many days, but no, Amazon is right and I have to take it up the ass. All this while they haven't even sent it and could easily cancel it for me if they wanted to.
You were the one that ordered the game and decided to pay £19.99 for it. Get over it.
If you'll get so pissed off feeling you paid too much, don't order until it gets cheaper...

WTF are you serious?

I had 10 off codes so I ordered GT5SigEd a few weeks ago but they just canceled my orders... (game and gameplay...)

Damn I am mad...

base.com is deducting VAT for orders outside of European Union. I think product must cost over 20 GBP.
On 40 GBP game you save 6 GBP. And shipping is only 1.30 GBP.
Nice discount ...until my country enters EU

Sorry if this was mentioned before, I am new to this thread.

OK since they expire tomorrow and I'm clearly not going to use them, I guess I ought to post my Lucky Gamer codes on here. Most of the ones I have are crappy £1 off £20 so I won't post those (unless anyone actually wants one?) so here's a selection of the best ones:

EDPM6EFH4 £10 off £50
T4HYSRWRX £10 off £50
NPE5YM5M6 £10 off £50
K7WS4GTWH £10 off £50
3YXMSJW7N £5 off £35
PFFRNGTYK £5 off £35
6W7J35W7H £5 off £35
7NMSCMNKD £5 off £35
RJEH57DTK £5 off £35
TWGERY6AT £5 off £35

I've a bunch more of the lower value ones (£5, £3, £2 and £1 - mostly £1) so if anyone really needs some more then feel free to ask and I'll post some.

What site are they for?

Yeah Lucky Gamer codes are for use on GAME.co.uk. There's a bunch of restrictions on them:

Vouchers are only redeemable online at Game.co.uk and are not valid in any GAME stores. Only one voucher per transaction. All items in your basket must be above the value of the voucher code discount. (e.g. a £3 off £30 voucher will need all items in the basket to be over £3). Vouchers cannot be redeemed against Kinect, Call of Duty: Black Ops, gift vouchers, gift cards, preorder products, hardware, hardware and software bundles, GAME Rental, GAMEcare, GAME on Demand Download Service, GAME Mobank store or mobile games.

I figure they might still be useful to someone though.

First one was used, and I used the second. 2100MS Points are £16.99, 3 lots comes to £50.97 and with the voucher, £40.97. So about £13.60 a card, which is the cheapest around right now I think.

EDIT: Thanks, by the way!

Here are some more lucky gamer codes. Apparently they also work on gamestation.co.uk due tot he store system being the same but I've not tried. Happy new year lurkers...I'm also not posting the lower value ones...

XHH65TMMK £10 off £50
YRNX6S6F3 £5 off £35
XYTP4RYWT £5 off £35

DG45YM3HM £5 off £35
Y33TKG56A £10 off £50

M4T7SA7GP £10 off £50
KSR7WACP4 £5 off £35

I don't know if it's the best deal around but anyone looking for MS points should check live-codes.com, they sell 2100 points for £14.99 (only for today).

I've used them a couple of times and they've been reliable so far.

Cheers I needed to pick up some points.

What's the best price on Picross 3D ?

I know Nintendo games rarely drop but I can't convince myself to pay full price for this kind of game... The App store spoiled me:lol

Out of stock a lot of places now, probably going out of print too

Base have it for £17.39, although their 4-6 days addition to the listing could hint at stock issues.

Amazon have it for £23.91. If you are looking for a good deal, it would be best to keep an eye on that page, and hope they lower it before it goes for good.

I'm going for no money spent on games in 2011. I'm currently playing through every game in my backlog and refusing to buy anything new until every single game has been beaten. I have 78 games to go.

Check it out here.

Better hope those Majora's Mask 3DS rumors aren't true, or that it doesn't come out until twenty-twelve

I'm actually more concerned about Portal 2 dropping so early this year. That's gonna take some serious will power.

Civilization 5 50% off at GamesPlanet: £19.99 till 9th Jan.
Can anyone tell me if this is just a download code for Steam? I'd like to get the game on my Mac for this price but if it's a straight up digital copy on PC I can't, whereas if I own it on Steam I can download the Mac version for free through Steamplay.

Well it is a Steamworks game so all Civilization 5 games register through Steam.

Picross 3D can still be found for €30 on Amazon.fr and Amazon.de if worst comes to worst.
I got worried it turns out of print so I went ahead and bought it from Amazon.fr.
I am in France and taking a very long trip in 10 days so at least I'll have it for my flights (I have already planned 4 DS games and 3 PSP ones I have to play during that trip, plus a book and iPhone stuff :lol )

I don't own a Mac but don't you get access to both version for free? Like you do with Valve games?

Yes but I thought that was if you bought off of the Steam store, buy one get access to both versions. However that deal looks to be separate from the Steam store so I was wondering if the Steamplay thing still applied and I could get both versions, despite not buying from Steam directly. And if so how?

Hi guys any good deals on magazine subscriptions, either EDGE or Gamesmaster etc? I live in the UK.

Thanks.

I am guessing you want the full, real paper magazine, which I cannot help with... although if you are considering a digital option, Zinio have a 13 issue for £25 deal going on both mags - less than £2 an issue. If you subscribe, the downloads for each issue is supposed to be inline with when the issue goes out in the mail to normal subscribers. The magazines are readable on their site (to read online), downloadable to PC to view on their reader (to read offline), or available on any mobile platform they have an app out for (to read offline). iPad/iPhone are the ones I know of...

I am reading the latest issue on iPad

I got VAT added (Ireland), and I think UK will too, which brought it up to around £25...
ah sweet, no tax added here for switzerland :P

for that price i don't even get 3 issues if i buy it at a local newsstand. lol.

A couple of bargains I'm on the lookout for.

The first I'm not expecting to be discounted much: With LBP2 on the horizon, I'm starting to seriously consider buying in to Move, which would require a Move Starter Kit. Any deals brewing for that?

Secondly, while on holiday with my parents over Christmas, my Dad rather took to Boom Blox, but it seems to be a bit hard to get now for him to have his own copy. Any good deals on it (or on Bash Party) around which are actually in stock?

Finally, Mum also started to remenisce about Mario Kart, so started drooling a bit when I showed her the virtual console. What's good at the moment for a CCPro and some Wii points?

Thanks guys! I want a ipad now..........:D

I found a voucher on hotukdeals £5 off (MFM-XMAS2010) on subscriptions at http://www.myfavouritemagazines.co.uk/ meaning I could get yearly sub for EDGE for £29.99 ish, which is not too bad.

But I want a ipad now :(

I will pick up a iphone next year but I am guessing it will be too small tbh.
