Hey lads, look, let me tell you my situation.

I had an Office 2010 license activated on my laptop. I may have lost the serial, and since I moved to a different continent, searching my house is not really an option. Thing is, when I installed Windows 10 Technical Preview, all my software went to hell.

But now I really want to try the nice integration Office has with Windows Phone, so I want a 2013 license, but I want it cheap. No going back to 2010. Unfortunately, no Office keys are being sold on Reddit now, which was my option. Is there a way to get discounted software somewhere somehow? I'm an Erasmus Student, so maybe that helps.

Oh man I love the OpenOffice Windows Phone integration.

Office 365 is 7 dollars a month. That's like 2 cheese burgers (in Finland, 14 in the US)

If you are still a student, ms offers free licenses through a website for your school. Enquire with them and see.

Students can get Office 365 for four years for $80. Some colleges also have deals to get you Office for free.

Yes Office 365 is rather affordable, probably has lower prices for students, and if you're an Erasmus you should easily find a few friends to share a "family subscription".
