Chris Christie gets pissed! (But the nachos are safe)

Christie would wilfully act like a glutton as other people suffer just to prove a point. And he has. No use splitting hairs.

While both bad, I think there's a difference between fat shaming a regular joe type person not in the public eye who didn't ask for it (which you absolutely shouldn't ever do because that makes you an asshole) versus a piece of shit Chris Christie. It's common sense to not bully an innocent person on their looks. Chris Christie? He deserves no censorship of feelings.

That man had more self control than I. I probably would have instigated him till he threw the first punch.

He was completely in control in that situation. Besides talking shit back there is not much you or I could or should do given that we would end up in jail.

Literally, you could go to jail for saying the wrong word or instigating something. They would find a law, and there are already normal laws that you can in fact be charged with for verbal arguments.

As much fun as it would be to heckle a bad person or government official, I personally would never even get close to doing it. Would attract way too much attention.

I'd have just booed the shit out of him and then gotten roughed up by the secret service. why does this guy have a security detail?

Worst part about this is if you are the citizen sitting there you can't do shit, because if so Security / Body Guards will fuck you up instantly and you'll end up in prison

I don't have that safety valve. I'd be on a two way trip to emergency room then jail.

That guy was heroic for not standing up. And he plainly wasn't intimidated by Christie himself.

Christie can go get in somebody's face like that but the moment he gets threatened, guarantee he gets his security to come over. Sad part is that there is a litany of Trump fans that think this is how you deal with your problems.

Yeah. I imagine he has a fairly sedentary lifestyle, eats quite a bit (could be due to stress, self-control, etc.), and just doesn't have the metabolism to support it. I've been overweight in the past so I could see how weight like his could happen if I didn't consciously decide to make a change. It's really easy to, say, like the taste of Chipotle, eat a burrito and not really consider that's 1k+ calories. Eat all 3 meals that big and the weight comes.

In Australia food started being put out with star rating from healthy (5) to unhealthy (1) as labelling. I think America is def a place that could use this. When I visited last year your guys portions on everything is FREAKING HUGEEEE it was amazing as a tourist lol.

One of the nice things from the ACA is that places were supposed to start advertising calories in meals. Places have been fighting it, but a lot of places have it. It's much easier to not make bad decisions when you go out to places to eat

I wonder if ya'll going off & fat-shaming Christy would say the same if he was an overweight woman

forreal guys he sucks and the trump administration sucks but have some damn tact when criticizing these idiots

a lot of people should be criticizing his fashion

what overweight man wears their belt around their nipples

as a fellow fatty this could have been easily avoided

Maybe he wears those pants so high to avoid tripping. Must terrified of tumbling down those stairs. A lot of people probably wanting to stick a foot out in-front of him.

I'd almost agree but the problem with this is that in a way you still end up insulting anyone else who happens to share the same trait with him. You can't shame some one based on a trait and not have some one else who has the same trait also feel that you probably feel the same way about how they look too but just are too polite to say it to you.

People coming to defense of Christie lol. Fat shaming is bad, but fuck Christie so who cares what anyone says about him. He's a massive piece of shit.

From the NY Post-

Back in 2012, the governor — while enjoying an ice cream cone on a Seaside Heights boardwalk — shouted a passerby, who made an unkind remark about his education policy.

“You’re a real big shot,” Christie yelled, not losing a drop of ice cream. “You’re a real big shot shooting your mouth off.”

That's his go to line big shot.

Punching Chris Christie is wrong, but verbally eviscerating him to his face is not only completely legal but encouraged.

Chris Christie's so greasy if you rub a white bath towel on him it turns see-through.

I'da jabbed my finger in his nachos and stirred it around, then watched the hungry fuck eat 'em anyway later.
