Chris Christie gets pissed! (But the nachos are safe)

I mean, that is what is going on in here.

Yeah, pretty much. Not sure why his body type has become a point of ridicule. I've actually been noticing it in a lot of OT political threads recently.

These politicians have shitty opinions, but I don't think it's cool to make fun of weight, facial features, odd mannerisms (which usually turn out to be health related), etc., etc.

I think it's fine for people to make fun of his weight when he's so gungho on eliminating opioid addiction, when in reality it's clear the dude has an issue with overeating and can't control himself.

It's just a bit of a contradiction.

I think being a terrible person helps remove that protection. I won't fatshame Christie myself, but he's a bit a twerp so I'm not shedding tears.

For real. Chris Christie is your typical Janet in the work place. You can't be overweight and be a terrible person to others and not expect burn. Dude has been campaigning to get ragged on and he was officially elected. Only time I cheered when seeing Chris Pratt get his teeth knocked out!

One of the nice things from the ACA is that places were supposed to start advertising calories in meals. Places have been fighting it, but a lot of places have it. It's much easier to not make bad decisions when you go out to places to eat

It's honestly been huge for me. I keep track of calories, and it's much easier to not go overboard when I can see how many calories food has. Instead of going for the burger with 1500 calories that I wouldn't have seen, I can grab fish tacos with 900 and stay under my limit. Previously I never would have considered that since both were just food to me. Attaching a number to things makes it much harder to handwave away.

Gov. Chris Christie said Wednesday he was "very restrained" when he confronted a heckler at a baseball game over the weekend, joking that he could have dumped his nachos onto the fan’s lap.

Footage of the incident, which occurred during a game between the Milwaukee Brewers and Chicago Cubs, quickly went viral. Christie, cradling an order of nachos, got inches away from a Cubs fan's face and told him, "you're a real big shot."

“For those of you who know me, I was very restrained,” Christie said during an unrelated press conference in Trenton. “I didn’t dump the nachos on him or anything, which I think was an option.”

See guys, the governor of a state was VERY restrained in that he didnt dump nachos.
