How we re-educate poorer countries first? on how to deal with that, stop buying plastic bottles ... tell CocaCola, Pepsi to switch back to glass-bottles or alu-cans. Stop using your rivers as "landfills".
Buying an EV car wont fix anything, an EV Car is still a Car. Investing millions on a boat-eating-up-trash-at-snail-pace wont fix the problem. And planting trees without consulting an expert ..; according to a youtuber, it takes up to 40 million trees (per day), for 365 days straight to clean USA´s CO2 footprint.
