I would like to know what benefits the foldability provides from someone who has used one, if any.
I use mine unfolded every day, though the majority of my use is in folded mode.
Unfolded usage:
- Art
- Handwritten notetaking
- Photo and videoing editing
- Kanji study app (drawing)
- Playing three Niantic games (they pause if swapped between)
- Gaming
- Watching videos while reading the comments (especially live)
- Reading books and manga - seriously it's great to hold like a small book (though an E-Ink device is much easier on the eyes)
- Chat apps when I have several conversations going on at once
- Bigger touchpad using DeX with my XR glasses
- In a pinch, work where I need to compare things
- Reference on one side, notes on the other (with a external keyboard
- Video call on top, reference, notes, or even both on the bottom
Have owned mine for the past 5 months and there are absolutely none. It's more for the novelty of it, I'm just grateful the software doesn't differ from a regular phone. Switching to a regular s25 that's releasing soon.
To each their own. The S25 has to be the most boring release by Samsung yet.
