Yes. E-mail Nintendo and tell them what happened. I downloaded a couple of games on my 3DS before linking it, but then I e-mailed Nintendo Support and they added surveys for those games in my CN page.

Ugh, I was on the fence about SMT 4 because I never played the series but getting $30 back would definitely make it an easy choice to snag it. I'll see if they can fix it for me.

Not at all. The game has its own storyline and many have said is an awesome starting point for those who want to get into the franchise.

If Atlus was smart, they'd extend that Soul Hackers sale another week so that folks have a nice synergistic game to spend that fresh $30 credit on.
I really have no interest whatsoever in Fire Emblem unfortunately so I'll have to see if I can do some code trading like I did for the Luigi's Mansion promo.

Having a nice LE and this in Europe would be great. That would be awesome mileage for FEA considering it already paid half my Animal Crossing (got MH3 for free thanks to the recommendation promo).
not really... they will give you a code... you can do whatever you want with it...
use it on your 3DS, on your friend's 3DS, on your WiiU, etc...
I do know about that consensus but I'd rather wait and see how it reviews with North American folk first.
Yeah, this is pretty much my situation right now. Loved Awakening but I never played a SMT game before so I have no idea what to expect or if I will like it or not. The $30 credit is damn enticing though...
The reception probably isn't going to be very different really.

I'm pretty sure Atlus is behind this awesome promotion. NOA sucks and have always sucked regarding this kind of promotions. I'll use the $30 for AA 5.

there is an account with club nintendo, you just can't transfer it to another system without a call to Nintendo Customer Service.
Well, you'll have plenty of time to get impressions before the promotion deadline. However, you're probably going to miss out on the bonus goodies if you don't pre-order.

That's an awesome deal. Already had FE:A registered and have loosely considered SMTIV in the last couple weeks, but I was set on passing on it until right now. Just preordered.
Really nice to see that NoA is pushing SMT4 quite a bit. I expect quite a few people will buy SMT4 now because they already own FE.
Will be interesting to see if NoE follows suit whenever SMT4 will be released over here. I won't complan if not though, the recent 4 for 3 giveaway was really nice too. Got Animal Crossing for free that way.
