Club Nintendo (NA): Register FEA + SMT4 by 8/31, get $30 eShop credit

I emailed New-Egg about the game and they haven't responded. Will the copy of the game from NewEgg include the artbook and soundtrack and everything?

I almost got screwed by newegg with Project X Zone and want to know if I need to just go order the game somewhere else.

Thanks!

Yep, you'll get the goodies; they come with every single copy during its first print.

Shame I gave away my Club Nintendo code for FE:A :( This would have had me interested in SMT4 as a $30 "discount" makes the game priced right for me.

Is it still hard to find retail copies of FE:A, especially at GameStop? I recall at launch, it was really tough to find one since most were pre-orders and it was really limited as to how many were shipped.

Are you like 100% sure...NewEgg customer service sucks from what I heard. I thought Project X Zone was the same way but my copy didn't so I ran to Target and bought it lol. Just so worried...however I'm getting it for $43 I think.

Unsure about GameStop but there are a whole bunch of copies at BestBuy (or at least the 5 I've been to).

Nope. In fact, the game was on sale for 29 bucks a few weeks ago at a number of online and retail locations.

Is there any incentive to get SMT 4 via the e-shop since I can't get the pre order bonuses? Will atlus adjust the price for the digital release?

Hmm, hopefully you're right. Maybe the GameStop store check was just wonky (only allowed for pre-owned to be searched & none were shown to be in town). Tempted to call, but I guess I can just check the next time I go into town.

What happened with Newegg and PxZ?

I never played a SMT game and was tempted by IV because I heard it's a good entry level game and the pre-order looks awesome. However I decided to pass...but then this comes up. Damn tempting.

I don't think I registered my FE:A yet. Does it have to be registered together?

but I don't want SMT4 (and pay $50 for it) maybe some gaffer wants to negociate the code for some game during the steam sale :P

woot. already had SMTIV ordered.. need to grab FE:A.. very happy I can grab the physical version for both (wtf nintendo.... get on account-wide eShop games already!!!!!!!)

The special edition retail copies of SMT IV come with an Insert with a club nintendo code?

Yes.

Whether your local supply has dried up is one thing, but yeah, Amazon has plenty of copies and it was definitely on sale there and at Best Buy for $30 a few weeks ago.

Kinda wishing I'd picked it up then because I kinda doubt it'll drop that low again before this promotion expires.

Well good news for you guys, I'll probably have a spare FE:A code since I double dipped, just need to see if the digital version is registered on CN already, and if that's the case it's yours. :D

dude, I'm a spanish native speaker, and I'm curious...

why would you like to play FE in spanish?... 99% of the games I've tried to play in spanish have horrible horrible translations :/

I second this, most of the spanish translations I've seen are really awful

What's everyone using their credit on?

I'm torn between downloading a bunch of VC and eshop games that I missed or double-dipping on Animal Crossing, so I can have it on my 3DS permanently.

Off-topic: Can I transfer my cart save to the eshop version?

For anyone who was wondering, Atlus confirmed on their Facebook page that the promo works retroactively too. So if you've already registered FEA, you still qualify.

Probably going to use it on M&L if I can get the credit.

Mario & Luigi: Dream Team seems to be getting a lot of love in EU reviews. After BiS I can't wait to see what else Nintendo has done and the soundtrack from what I heard is incredible. It comes out next month too!

Don't see the point of double dipping on Animal Crossing though.

Despite SMTIV's digital price being too high, this is an outstanding deal. Seeing it coming in USA is shocking, given the recent past...and there are many chances this is Atlus's doing it :lol

If this is really NoA's idea, I hope to see this kind of promotion again for other third party titles. Like "Buy Super Mario 3D World and Sonic Lost World / Zelda:ALBTW and Sonic Lost World and you get a $25 Credit!".

Has Nintendo said anything about people with the Fire Emblem 3DS? I don't think its fair that people like me are possibly excluded from this offer.

i just preordered smtiv

why'd i do that

Also, I'm guessing Gamestop won't have SMTIV just sitting out on shelves anytime soon. I mean, they leave the Club Nintendo codes in there 9 times out of 10...

If you purchased the Fire Emblem: Awakening hardware bundle, you must link your Nintendo 3DS system to your Club Nintendo account and complete the registration survey for Shin Megami Tensei IV to qualify for the promotion.

Clearly they want Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem to succeed.

I did too, but I emailed customer support to see if there is anything that can be done.

For those who forgot to do your survey: Check your account now.

I'm pretty certain I had forgotten to do so as well and it's appearing in my To-Do listing.

SMT4 DLC lol

or Rune Factory 4 (this will get an eshop release right?)

I, uh, accidentally let my Fire Emblem post play survey expire. I did fill out the registration survey though. Is that good enough, or am I boned?
