Because that's the kind of things immature guys joke about since we were little kids. Has nothing to do with homosexuality. In my case it wouldn't anyway.

I'm sorry but a guy wearing a pink jump suit (anywhere, not just the Super Bowl) isn't common. I can't recall ever seeing it and it would catch my attention for sure. Now is he wrong for wearing a pink jump suit? Of course not, but if you are my friend and a male, gay or straight, you're getting clowned for wearing a pink jump suit.

a lot of things said to friends though are not appropriate in a public forum like twitter.

Also, there are ways to make fun of a pink suit that have nothing to do with insulting gay people.

"Hey, look; it's the fucking Easter bunny."

Eh, Bill Simmons could have written the same thing and no one would have batted an eyelash. Extra scrutiny due to his publication history. Dude needs to learn to keep his mouth shut.

I don't think those tweets are homophobic. People are reaching because of statements he has made in the past, which is understandable. I really don't like this dude though.

I know CNN US gets a lot of very deserved flack from being absolutely terrible, but it's the lesser of the two evils.

There are more than two network news channels. A few decent ones, even. 'Lesser of two evils" usually only applies when your choice is limited to those two.

Besides, there are other ways to get the news, ya know?

I know, but the conversation was about CNN US and Fox News.
