I'd love to get everyone in this thread into the beta, but it just can't be, sorry guys.

As for the next wave - no idea. I'm not even in the office this week. I've just been watching from the sidelines.
 
hey DKo5, does the UAV Jammer perk keep you off the radar even when you're shooting?

Just wondering since I'm in the process of building a custom class.

Can you confirm one thing for me? Is this truly US only or are some Canadians getting in? Half the time when people say US only they mean NA.

I think it should be fine. A lot of people at work/school etc there's always the one off guys who're on their lunch breaks but I think it should be fine...a lot better than 8pm EST.

UAV Jammer only conceals you when an enemy calls in UAV support. If you want to stay concealed while firing you need to put a suppressor (or "silencer" in movie/game terms ;P) on your weapon.

Hate to keep you tied up answering questions, DKo5. I think I can speak for everyone in the thread when I say that we really appreciate it, though. But anyhow:

Do you know if the sign ups that start on the 27th are going to have three trivia questions, as well? And is the distribution of the tokens completely on a first come, first serve basis as the FAQ says?
 
AFAIK there will be questions and it will be first come first serve (despite my repeated attempts otherwise)
 
Anyone know why the site won't send me the confirmation email to make my account on the site active? I've tried using my MSN account and my college email, it won't send it to either no how many times I choose to resend it. It's not in the junk box either.

Yes, the beta is perfect! I have two free days ahead so I can play my precious beta all I want. The game looks GORGEOUS, runs at a silky smooth 60FPS and really.. its one of the most awesome games I've played in all year. Props to IW!

Though... some respawn points are weird but whatever lol. And I got to play with ScrewAttack.com haha

And what should we be memorizing for the big test on Monday?

I'd imagine that more beta entrants, more possible buyers. Why limit it so much?

Myself, if I don't play it beforehand, it's a rental. I'm not dropping $60 for a "i-hope-its-good" purchase.
 
Seeing that this is a beta, I sure hope you add some more recoil to the Semi-auto sniper rifle. Its so annoying watch people snipe me in the kill cam (which is awesome btw) as though its an automatic with little to no kickback.

Don't forget the subtle auto-lock on when firing on full auto with the M4.

The respawn points are perfect, and if you notice you'll spawn near a teammate that is in a secure location for the most part. I love it, this is what Graw2 should have had.

Oh well, I'll be busy playing Warhawk anyways I guess. I just hope that "early September" is the first week or so, otherwise my hands will be tied with NHL 08.
 
Been playing for about 6 hours straight, so much fun, but I reach the level cap in about 3-4 hours ... going up levels is too easy, but I'm sure it'll be harder as you go up...

Most likely; and for now, once you hit the current level cap, you can pass the time by unlocking attachments & etc. =)

Has anyone found a favorite weapon of theirs, yet?

IW internal test of the Beta was going really well, IW decided to start inviting some players in early. The CharlieOscarDelta.com Beta stuff isn't ready ready for prime-time, so IW sets up an email address for 24 hours (window already closed?). Random lotto chosen of people who sent emails in.

This is all to at least get some people in and playing early. IW didn't have to do this, just got impatient.

A bunch of people got keys last night, some more tonight, and it sounds like there will be more throughout the week.

But the actual, full-on Beta extravaganza hasn't started yet. =)
 
For those that got in, have you played with any IW guys? I did, pretty cool chaps too.

Speaking of which, I've already played with your usual assortment of XBL dirtbags, which made stabbing them in the neck all the more pleasurable.:lol
