COD 4 Beta Thread

:lol ever since I made the comment about Vacant, I end up joining a match on that map then when it's over, the server kicks everyone off. If you rejoin, you end up on Vacant again.

Almost level 10 :D
 
THis is complete bullshit.....if I see you playing the beta on my friends list, I'll give you shitty feedback. Some of you guys got in the beta by doing NOTHING at all. :(
 
I just played a game where I went 32-10. Had some kid on the other team talking so much shit at the end of the game. They won 750-740 and my god he would not shut up, despite going 3-10.

My game, I should say. I've never seen anything like it. On the scoreboard, there were two guys on my team, two guys on the other team and the other eight were all highlighted red and not in the game at all.

Oh my GOD. Just played a domination (?) game on the urban indoor map w/Broadbandito. SO TIGHT. It was back and forth, and back and forth, for AGES. Superb territory placement, btw. Our team won 150 to 149... So intense. I even had a last stand going on one of the territories, I was hoping I would get it before I died... OMG. So, so good. COD4 Beta>>>>>Bioshock.

Well, I was finally lucky enough to get an invite tonight! I was gone all day and sick :(
I missed the GAF games I see. If anyone wants another GAF dude that's in the beta on your friends list. add me.

I still can't even get the COD site to send me a confirmation email so that I can browse the site, so I guess I have no chance on Monday, stunning.

I think all of us who've been trying will get in on Monday. The only thing that sucks is that we won't necessarily get our keys monday. They're doing it by waves next week too which blows. God damn MS, buy more fucking servers ='( .

Well if what fourzerotwo and I think DK having been saying is true, this beta is pretty large scale, similar to Halo 3's (Which was like 800,000 people or something crazy like that).

Same here. If the site got pounded and died a horrible death during the first wave lotto, I shudder to think what's going to happen on Monday, when the whole mainstream gaming community pretty much knows.

Same, sucks I'm still like the only one on my friends list playing bioshock (Which is so awesome and im 60% done..) and everyone else is playing COD4 beta. I was playing BioShock today and talking to a friend in private chat and the whole convo was pretty much "So, how come you not playing BioShock?" Idk man, this uh beta..OH SHIT THIS HELICOPTER IS OWNING" and a tear rolls down my cheek =(.

Ugh. I don't have either. Hopefully Monday I'll have both. Somebody hold me... ; ;
 
Their site is going to implode when it opens up to the masses.

I really hope I make it in before then. I'm tired of staying up till 4am refreshing my gmail.

Try the "Team Objective" playlist, if you haven't. I think I have the most fun in Domination and S&D modes, especially when I'm partied-up with friends. Good communication seems to make all the difference. =)
 
I played my first two games before I went to bed last night and man...I went to bed very impressed. The Lobby and Party System are both simple and work fine, the action is great, and I like the experience system. It's the first time I've played a game with it. Definitely going to play a ton today.
